Chapter 21:
It is a mystery to why Selena decided to settle in London on her own will but the fact remained that she will stay with us for the next two years. Apparently she fell in love with London the last time she visited and just could not live in Weymouth. What a load of crap. It was clear she was hiding or maybe running from trouble which I am sure was her own fault because... Well I just did. The thing I feared the most was her, I trusted her nought and dreaded the next one and a half year - I hope it's just one and a half and not more otherwise I'll move out myself - that I will have to spend, day and night, living with her.

"Look what I have for you." Jade teased with a hidden excitement when she handed me a silver envelope sparkling with glitter.
"Jade's 17th Masquerade/Fancy Dress Birthday Bash" I read out loud in our English class which was already buzzing because nearly the entire college, even Tom was invited to this party next Saturday.
"Why invite the whole college?" I asked because Jade was one to keep it simple.
"Why not. Yolo."
"Are you kidding me?" I gave her an eye roll, laughing at the same time at her unfunny joke.
"Anyway, I did not invite you know who?"
"Am I meant to find that shocking?" I asked, confused.
"Well I know you hate her but she is your sister and it's sort of rude don't you think?"
"Wait what? Who are you talking about?"
"Selena of course."
"I thought you were on about Zayn."
"Oh I gave him an invite obviously." she winked but I was not amused.
"Why would you give him an invite too? Don't you think it'll look a bit erm... I don't know... suspicious!"
"It's a Masquerade party." she winked again.
"Oh gosh, don't look at me like that! I just thought it'd be nice but some people don't appreciate nice people anymore."
I shook my head in sheer amusement at my silly and the greatest best friend ever.
"So who's your date for the party blondie?"
Jade and I turned around to see who it was. It was Tom. I should have known by that croaky voice...
"Erm, not got any to be honest..." I replied.
"Be my date then."
I shouted at Jade for inviting him, with my glares.
"I er don't think that's -
"Oh come on, are you planning to be a nun for the rest of your life or what?" Tom said rudely, clearly annoyed. Awkward silence took over...
"Can't you just give me a chance once at least? Please!"
"No Perrie!" Jesy warned me.
Damn it! I didn't like turning people down, I felt wrong doing it but most of all, I hated feeling guilty and awkward. It was just a party so it wouldn't mean anything really...
"Okay. But for the first and last time." Jade and Jesy exchanged looks of disbelief.
"Perrie, do you need help in anything?" my favorite voice spoke.
"Yeah actually." I turned my attention to Zayn's clean shaven, lovable face. I had to stop myself from lunging in for a kiss and I sensed so did he, from the smoldering looks he was giving me. "Of course!", I heard Tom hiss behind me.
