Chapter 45:

3 months had passed since Perrie had moved to the hostel. In this short space of time, Perrie stayed the same, still fixed and in love with Zayn. Zayn on the other hand, had achieved far more than any teacher alive today. His group One Direction was already the number one boy band to ever exist, this fame and fortune just kept flowing in nonstop but Perrie had no inkling about this.

Perrie's POV:

"Then don’t move while I act out my prayer." Zayn kissed me.

"You are so sneaky! I should have known."

"That's not the next line."

"As if you care about the lines. You just wanted to -

Zayn kissed me again.

"Perrie!"

Suddenly, the flashback fainted away, awakening me back to reality. Today was the show of Romeo and Juliet, it was my idea that we should do it and the girls all loved it so here we were, watching the show. Sheila was wearing an excited, happy smile after singing the opening song, again my idea.

"How was it?" she asked with anticipation. I merely smiled at her in encouragement when in reality, I had not paid attention to anything so far, too busy dwelling at my own past. I looked at her as she hurried off to back stage, wishing I had the same air of excitement as her or any of the other girls here. I felt the annoyed watch of Selena and my mum hover around me as I dully stared at the seat in front of me like a lifeless soul. All the parents and friends had come today, another reason all the girls were ecstatic since they rarely got visits or messages from their loved ones. Unlike everyone else's family members, mines were sitting with a disappointed expression because like the last time, I was doing nothing, not even a minor role. I didn't want to.

Finally the show ended and I quickly walked back to my room to escape the talks and lectures that my mum and Selena were going to shower me with. Unfortunately, they trailed behind me before I had the chance to lock the door. It was my mum.

"You are still obsessed with him! Why can't you just move on?" She yelled.

"If only moving on was as easy."

"It is but you are not even willing to try."

"There is no way out."

"Perrie! Stop acting like a FOOL and get a grip."

"If I am a fool, it's only because of you mum."

"It is isn't it? Well I am sorry for trying to think the best for my daughter."

With that, she rushed out of the room, leaving me to dry my own tears.

"Perrie?"

I looked up at Selena.

"Perrie, please listen to Debbie. She's only trying to help."

"I don't need help. I need him."

"Stop! Stop this Perrie! You have no idea how annoying it is to see you wreck yourself like this. And over who? Zayn! He doesn't deserve you Perrie. He's already moved -

"You will never understand. You have Jay, a perfect relationship with no flaws..."

"I would understand Perrie but unlike you I have my eyes open."

"You are right. My eyes are closed. Maybe that's why I fell in love with him. Maybe that's why -

"Perrie please!"

Slowly, she sat down next to me on the bed and hugged me tightly. Without thinking, I wrapped my arms around her and cried my heart out. No one had done this to me in 3 months.
