Chapter 7:

It had been exactly 2 months since Perrie had started the college. In those 2 months, Perrie and Zayn had developed a strong relationship which they had no name for. Perrie had been late to Rebecca's lessons every Tuesday without a fail much to her mother's dismay. Unfortunately she was not always the only one but it was worth it anyway because he always helped her every time. Only Jade had noticied how often Zayn would visit her and Perrie's table and how Perrie had suddenly actually become blonde in the English lessons.

Jade's POV:

English class was just about to start and I was way too early for it but hey earlier the better. Who wouldn't want extra time to stare at the gorgeous English teacher! I felt butterflies flutter inside me as I skipped to class but what I saw made me want to run away. Far far away! I just saw Mr Malik kiss Perrie's cheek! Why would he do that! WHY!?!  I decided to wait for Jesy to come and went in with her.

"Perrie. You're always early for this lesson. How come you are late for Rebecca's then?" Jesy asked out loudly. I noticed Perrie give a quick look at Mr Malik before answering.

"I er... I don't know. I really don't like Rebecca you know."

"Oh so you just want to annoy her. I didn't think you would be that type of girl Perrie."

I took my seat and waited for the class to begin.

"Hey Jade."

"Hi..."

"Is something the matter?"

"You tell me."

Perrie gave me a puzzled look then started to flip the pages randomly. It had been half an hour into the lesson, we were given another poem to analyse. I just knew what was going to happen next...

"Mr Malik?" Perrie's soft voice echoed across the classroom.

"Coming Perrie." Mr Malik face was wearing a sweet smile at Perrie.

When did he start calling his students by their first names? And why was he constantly smiling whenever she calls him over? It had been a usual pattern now to see Perrie struggle and ask for help on more than one occasion. What made me curious was that Perrie had no problem in the first lesson, in fact she looked as if she was a master in English so what happened after...?

"Oh this poem is very easy Perrie. I think you must know what it means." Mr Malik said in the sweetest way possible. It was as if he was talking to some precious little girl. What the hell was going on here!?

"I do but I am not entirely sure if I have analysed it accurately so that's why I called you over..." Perrie said whilst blushing slightly.

"Tell me what you think Perrie." Oh the way he said her name broke my heart. Why couldn't he call everyone by their names. Why only her?  The lesson continued with Mr Malik coming to our table frequently even when Perrie didn't raise her hand. I was secretly happy to see his gorgeous face up close and also a bit hurt that he never took his gaze away from her. I looked at Perrie, she was definitely enjoying every minute of his attention.
