Chapter 23

Mia’s POV

I wake up with my head on Niall’s lap and I sit up hoping that no one else has seen, but I’m the first awake, and my sudden movement has woken Niall.

“Good morning gorgeous.” He whispers and I smile and gently kiss him on the tip of his nose.

“Good morning.” I whisper back and move away as there’s movement from across the room and I look round to see Louis subconsciously pulling Georgia closer to him in his sleep and I can’t help the smile.

“Is there something going on between those two?” Niall asks me quietly and I smile at his ignorance.

“Yes, it’s obvious, they don’t exactly try to hide it but I don’t think that they’re official yet.” I whisper back and he kisses me and to my horror we are broken apart by a flying pillow. I turn to the direction that the pillow was thrown from, my heart hammering but when I turn I see Liam sat there grinning at us.

“Cut down on the PDA guys, especially this early in the morning.” He says and I giggle, I can tell that Niall’s glaring at him.

“Sorry Liam, we thought everyone was asleep.” I giggle and he rolls his eyes before standing up and leaving the room. Unfortunately for everyone still sleeping, my mum decides to call me and I haven’t got my phone on silent. I scrabble around looking under clothing and get to my phone as fast as possible but not before there are a few complaints coming from the others.

“Hello?” I say, stepping out of the room as my mum’s voice comes through the receiver.

“Hey honey, how is everything, is the house still alright, those boys haven’t messed it up have they?” I laugh as I answer her many questions as to the welfare of her house.

“The house is fine mum, honestly they are actually reasonably responsible for teenage boys even if they do eat an insane amount of food.”

“Well, if you’re sure, how are you honey, and what were your results didn’t you get them yesterday?”

“Yeah I did, I’ll email you them so that you can tell dad.” I assure her.

“Ok, well I was actually calling to tell you that we will be coming home tomorrow and I expect the house to be as I left it.” She warns and my eyes widen, ok the house isn’t a mess but it isn’t exactly how my mother left it either.

“Ok, well I guess I will see you tomorrow then.” I say as cheerfully as possible.

“Ok then, love you honey.”

“Love you too, bye.” I say and quickly hang up the phone and run back into the room and almost trip over Harry who is sleeping by the door, but this time I don’t.

“EVERYBODY WAKE UP!!!!” I yell causing Harry to sit straight up, apparently I made him jump. Louis just buries his face into Georgia’s shoulder causing her to giggle and Zayn just rolls over and clamps a pillow over his head.

“What is it?” Harry asks, rubbing sleep from his eyes.

“My parents are coming back early and they expect the house to be as they left it, well of course with 5 boys and a girl extra but I mean, it has to be clean, like spotless or else I will be grounded until I graduate!” I say rapidly which I think may have been a little too fast for someone who has just woken up.

“What?” He asks with a furrowed brow and Niall stifles a laugh.

“Basically, we have to clean and tidy this whole house and keep it that way.” I say, slowing my speech.

“But that’s going to take ages, there are the remains of the balloons from our water fight covering the lawn.” Louis moans, sitting up slightly but keeping his arm around Georgia, clearly not caring who sees.
