Chapter 58

*Buzz Buzz*

I wake with a start and look for the source of the strange noise. I notice that my phone is lit up. I pick it up and see that I have a new message...from the blocked number.

"Niall!" I squeak, my heart beginning to pound.

"What? What is it beautiful?" Niall mumbles from beside me.

"Niall! It's the...the text!" I say, dropping my phone out of my shaking hands.

"What?" He says again, less groggy this time as he sits up and flicks on the bedside light. We blink to get used to the light.

Niall picks up my phone and unlocks it. The message appears.

*5 days and 1 minute left. I can't wait to finally get my hands on you little bitch. See you soon. Kisses xxx*

I feel sick to my stomach as the tears start to fall.

"If this sicko really thinks he's going to get his hands on you then he's got another thing coming. We are going to the police in the morning and I won't leave until they give you at least two bodyguards to go everywhere with you." Niall says as he wraps his arms around me. "And we're going to get you a new phone so that they can't text you any more."

"Niall that won't make them go away! Whether they can text me or not they're still going to come after me on Friday." I cry into his chest as he rocks me, trying to sooth me. "And I can't miss school! I don't have time to do catch up as well as homework and go to work." I say as best I can, my voice coming out strangled from the lump in my throat.

"Ok then we'll go when you're finished at work." Niall soothes.

"Ok." I sniffle.

Niall holds me for a while longer as I slowly calm down.

"There, now let's try and get some sleep. No one is going to touch you with me around." He says after a while.

"Ok." I mumble sleepily.

"Good." He says as we lay back down and I snuggle into his protective hold.

I soon fall asleep again and don't wake until morning.

"Are you sure, you're going to be alright?" Niall asks for the billionth time this morning as we arrive at school.

"Yeah and after school I'm going straight to work." I say before he can ask.

"Good. Text me whenever you can, ok? I love you." Niall says and I smile, trying to look as though everything in life was perfect.

"I love you too." I say giving him a quick kiss before heading into school with Georgia.

"Don't worry Niall, the girls and I will look after her!" Georgia calls over her shoulder, her arm linked in mine.

Niall gives me one last worried look before heading for rehearsals with the boys.

"It's going to be ok." Georgia says confidently as we walk towards our lockers.

"I hope so." I whisper, more to myself than to Georgia.

"Hey guys!" Charlie greets.

"Is everything ok?" Halli asks with concern.

"Another text." I hear Georgia tell the others softly.

As I pull my drama file out of my locker I feel multiple arms surround me as the others hug me.

"Oh squidge, we're here for you." Charlie says giving me an extra squeeze before letting go.

"Thanks guys." I say softly.
