Thirteen

"What are you humming?" Sirius crept up behind you and made you jump with his question. You cringed.
"Am I loud?" You bit your lip.
"You sounded really good," he smiled.
You blushed.
"Carol of the Bells. It's almost Christmas, so I figured it's time to break out the muggle Christmas music. All the classics: Peanuts, Cosby, King Cade, you name it."
"... I have no idea what that means," Sirius grinned all the same and sat down next to you.
He wrapped an arm around your shoulder and you leaned into his warmth, sighing with contentment.
"What're you two lovebirds up to?" And unwelcome voice interrupted your peace.
You closed your eyes in frustration and groaned.
"Can't we get one moment of alone time?" You snapped at James.
He came around the couch and shrugged.
"How'd you even get in here, mate? What could you possibly need?" Sirius frowned.
     "I needed someone to annoy," James shrugged.
     "So you came to the Room of Requirement?" You shook your head incredulously.
     "Yep," James nodded vigorously.
     "... Well... are you gonna leave?" You waited for James to walk away.
     "Nope!"
     Ugh. This was going to be a looong day.
