If the Marauder's Age Took Place in 2016...

     "Finally! They made a face palm emoji!" You exclaimed, holding the screen of your phone up to the boys.
     "Just scroll to the animal section," James insisted apprehensively.
"Oh, will you just calm down! Even if they do have a stag emoji–"
"THEY HAVE A WOLF!"
"Jesus Remus! Don't yell!"
     "... but they have a wolf."
     "HOLY SHIT!" You jumped at James' scream.
     "What now?"
     "THEY DO HAVE A STAG EMOJI! OH MY GOD! THIS IS LIFE CHANGING!"
"James–"
"THIS. CHANGES. EVERYTHING!"
"Yes, because your very existence teetered on whether or not there was a stag emoji," you said drily.
James grabbed your hands and forced eye contact, his hazel eyes wide.
"Exactly!" You groaned and rolled your eyes.
"Oh! Goody! They have a rat emoji!" Peter squealed.
"Wormtail, they've had that for, like, five years now," James scoffed.
You dared to glance at Sirius, who looked downcast.
You elbowed him.
"What's wrong?"
"I'm stuck with that effing puppy emoji," he growled.
You shared a look with James and the two of you burst out laughing.
"It's so... you!" You giggled uncontrollably, tears leaking out of your eyes.
"It basically has your name on it, Pad," James guffawed.
"IT HAS A SPOT ON ITS LEFT EYE!" He roared.
You stifled a grin.
"Look, Sirius, there's another dog– it's not black, but it's better than the... what did you call it? 'Effing puppy emoji'? It's this one," you showed him. "Besides, you'll always be the big, shaggy black dog in our eyes," you wiped tears of laughter from your face.
He glowered.
"Awww, aren't you two just the sweetest!" Remus laughed after a moment of silence.
"We are, aren't we?" You grinned and put your arm around your boyfriend, resting your head against his.
He begrudgingly smiled.
You smiled back.
