     "Hey. (Y/N)."
"Bugger off, Sirius," you growled.
You were in Astrology, studying the moon and how the shift affected the other planets.
"Are you from the moon?"
"What?"
"'Cause you're out of this world."
"You're joking."
He shrugged, a smirk on his face.

You were walking down the hall when someone grabbed your shoulder.
"Woah, slow down!" Sirius Black was towering over you, a wide grin on his face.
"Why?" You glared and kept walking, picking up speed.
"Wait–(Y/N)!" He caught up with you in an few long strides.
You sighed. "What?"
"Just let me tie your shoes."
You gasped at him.
"I'm sorry?"
"I mean, I don't want you falling for someone else, do I?"
"Arg! Shove off."

In the Great Hall, you sat with your friends, enjoying a fresh plate of fruit for breakfast. They immediately started giggling and looking behind you. You turned to see Sirius swaggering over to your table.
"What now?" You frowned.
He was laughing quietly to himself.
"If you were a fruit–"
"Don't you da–"
"–you'd be a fineapple."
You shook your head in disbelief.
"Merlin... you just won't stop."

"What's wrong?" You rolled your eyes. Sirius was frowning exaggeratedly.
"It's just... I thought 'happiness' started with an 'H'."
"It does...?"
"But then why does mine start with 'U'?"
"Merlin's knickers!"

"Sirius, stop staring at me."
Nothing.
"Sirius, what the bloody hell are you looking at?"
Silence.
"Do I have an eyelash or something?"
"Merlin, do you have a map?"
"A map? Why would you need a map?"
"I'm getting lost in your eyes."
"F–"

"Hey (Y/N)? Where are you from?"
"Take a guess."
"Russia?"
"No–"
"'Cause you're Russian my heart rate."
"I didn't–"
"How about Tennessee?"
"Why would I e–"
"'Cause you're the only ten I see."
"I'm not from Russia or Tennessee!"
"Aw."
"What now?"
"You're lips look lonely!" He pouted.
"I swear–"
"Would they like to meet mine?"
"I hate you."
"Please, can I borrow a kiss? I'll give it back, I promise."
"That's it, I'm done."

You sat with Remus on the sprawling grounds.
Sirius and James walked up to you.
"Hey (Y/N)."
"Hey Sirius."
"If I had a Knut for every time I thought of you, I'd have one Knut."
"Um–"
"'Cause you never leave my mind."
"Oh my–"
"You know, if I got a Sickle for every time I saw someone as gorgeous as you, I'd only get one."
"Alright, Pads, let 'em be," James rolled his eyes.
They walked away.
"Jeez, he must really like you," Remus chuckled.
"What? Why?"
"Dunno. But he's nervous."
"No he's not. He's totally at ease!" You gestured to a relaxed looking Sirius, his shoulder resting against a tree. He laughed at something James said.
"He uses pick-up lines when he's nervous."
"So what? Trust me, Remus. I can assure you, Sirius is not into me."
"Are you blind? (Y/N), for a Ravenclaw, you sure can overlook the obvious."
"The... obvious?"
"You're oblivious to the fact that he is head-over-heels in love with you!" He shouted.
Sirius turned, confusion on his face. You blanched.
He started to walk towards you.
"I guess Remus got a little too carried away and told you some personal information." He glared at Remus.
You didn't say anything.
"So. Let me ask you this. If I were to ask you out on a date, would your answer be the same as the answer to this question?"
You processed what he said. It dawned on you that whatever you said in return would automatically accept his invitation.
"I..."
"The Ravenclaw's stumped. Huh. Funny, how a guy like me managed to trick a girl like you."
You blushed.
"Go away."
"You didn't answer the question."
"And I'm not obligated to."
"Come on!" He whined.
"My answer is possibly."
"Possibly?"
"Yeah. Possibly."
"Huh."
"The answer to the question is possibly, so it's only a possibility that the answer is the same."
"Well played."
"Thanks."
"However, you're a better thief than an athlete."
"No, not again..."
"You stole my heart faster than you answered that question."
"You won't ever stop, will you?"
"Nope."

I just watched 10 Things I Hate About You for the first time and it was adorable!!
   Idk why I don't have any Nervous!Sirius Oneshots, especially ones without pickup lines. Sirius was world famous for pickup lines!!
    So... personal life stuff: We have our volleyball team!! We have double sessions Monday-Friday and a single session on Saturday until school starts up again ugh
