Seventy-Three

     "I'll pick you up at seven."
     "Got it."
     "Merlin, these phone things are weird."
     "Sure Sirius."
     "Bye, love,"
     "Bye."
     You hung up on your boyfriend and strolled into the kitchen. You grabbed an apple and took a bite. Your mom walked by, and you snagged her arm.
     "Ah goig ow wih Hieeuh."
     "What?"
     You swallowed your food and repeated the sentence.
     "I'm going out with Sirius. Later tonight. Is that okay?"
     "He's coming here?"
     "Yeah, to pick me up. Seven. I thought I'd tell you. Dad might be annoyed."
     "Honey..."
     "What?"
     "You know he wants to personally meet Sirius, right?"
      "Ugh. Yes. But it'll have to wait. We need to set up an actual date to do it. He can't just expect us to–"
     "(Y/N)? Sirius is coming over?"
     You sighed, closing your eyes as your father entered the room,
     "Yes, Dad. Later. And we're going out."
     "Tell him to stop inside. Just for a little."
     "Dad—!"
     "Don't disagree with me, (Y/N)."
     You rolled your eyes and walked brusquely to your room, slamming the door behind you.
      "I am an angsty teen."

     At seven, you heard the roar of a motorcycle.
     "A motorcycle?" Your dad raised his eyebrows.
     You made a face.
     "Yes?"
     There was a knock at the door. Your dad went to answer it, but you stopped him.
     "Just give me a second."
     He stared at you.
     "Please?"
     He let go of the doorknob and turned away.
     "Maybe... another room?"
     He scoffed, but left.
     You opened the door to see Sirius's wide grin.
     "Hey love," he ran a hand through his hair.
     "Hey baby," you smiled and hugged him.
     "So... you ready?" You pulled back and looked up at him guiltily.
     "Well..."
     "What?"
     "My dad. He wants... oh, Sirius," you groaned when you looked at what he was wearing.
     "What?"
     He wore his leather jacket, a pair fingerless leather gloves, and his favorite pair of frayed jeans. He had on a Weird Sisters t-shirt, and his aviators, folded and tucked into the neck of his shirt, glinted in the dying sunlight.
     "I told my dad you were taking me out. I bet he thought we were going to a fancy restaurant."
     "But... we're just getting fish 'n chips...?"
     "I know. Ugh!"
     "Hey, hey, hey! Chill out, love. Take it slow. Why are you worried?"
     "My dad wants to meet you." His face flashed with concern, then returned to its permanent smirk.
     "And my mom, but she likes you from what I've said."
     "I'm a genius."
     "Sorry?"
     "Give me a sec. Get your parents."
     "Are you su—?"
     "Yep. Trust me, love. I know what I'm doing."
     You went to grab your parents while Sirius ran back to his beloved motorcycle.
     "You can come now."
     "It's about time," your dad grumbled.
     When you returned to the foyer, Sirius was standing casually in the doorway, a bouquet of flowers in his hands.
     "Hello! I'm Sirius Black, its a pleasure to finally meet you."
      He handed the flowers to your mother, and firmly shook your father's hand.
     "Sorry for the outfit. (Y/N) and I were just going on a casual date. I wasn't sure if you expected me to show up in a tuxedo... sorry to disappoint."
     You mother laughed.
     "So... Mr. Black. I'd like to have a conversation with you," your dad folded his arms in an effort to appear more dominant. You almost laughed.
     "Sure thing." If Sirius was scared, he didn't show it.
     "In the kitchen."
     He shrugged.
     "Um... Alright."
     When the two left the room, your mother turned to you, an excited look on her face.
      "Oh, darling he's so gentlemanly and polite! I mean, the hair could use a bit of work... it's rather long, don't you think?"
     "Mum!"
     "But he's got such a handsome face! And the way you two look at each other..." she sighed. "I completely respect and support your decision to date him."
     You chuckled.
     "Thanks mum."
     You both stood there for a little while longer, until you became so frustrated with your father that you had to say something.
     "Merlin's beard, what is taking them so long?"
     Your mother looked confused.
     "'Merlin's beard'?"
     "Never mind."
     You strode to the edge of the room and rapped on the kitchen door frame.
     "Oy! You done in there? I'm hungry!"
     Sirius emerged first. He looked quite proud. Your father walked out next, an annoyed expression on his face.
     "So? What'd you think?"
     "Sirius, you're welcome back anytime! These flowers are so beautiful! You two have fun!" Your mother gushed.
     "Sure, go ahead," your dad smiled begrudgingly. 
     "Thanks. Bye!" You waved and dragged Sirius out of the house.
     He put his arm around you and squeezed your shoulder.
     "I did good, didn't I?"
     "Oh, shove off," you laughed.
     "You'd better have a helmet, young lady!" You heard your mother call from the door. You waved her off.
     "Yeah, yeah, I've got one."
     "Are you—"
     "Mum, I'm fine!" You yelled between giggles.
     You strapped the helmet on your head and got on the motorcycle.
     "By the way," you shouted over the roar of the engine, gripping Sirius's waist, "where'd you get the flowers?"
     "I was saving them for our 18 month anniversary!" He yelled.
     "Aww! Thanks babe!" You pressed your cheek to his back.
     "Yeah, yeah, it's no big deal," he laughed.
     You peeled out of the driveway and sped down the road, your stomach empty, but you heart full.

   God I am sf cheesy.
   Whatever.
   Hey y'all.
   Sorry if I sound devoid of all emotion.
   I just got caught up with Supernatural.
   So

   I have no reason to live
   Because without spn
   Do I even have a life?

    It's okay, there's a new episode on Thursday, and I'm pretty sure my baby(Jack Kline)'s in it!!!

   IM SORRY HE MAKES MY HEART OVERFLOW WITH LOVE HAPPINESS JOY AND FRIVOLITY I MEAN JUST WOOK AT HIM MY DARLING BABY MY FAVORITE UGH I LOVE HIM HE IS MY WORLD AND HE DESERVES EVERYTHING THAT IS GOOD AND HIS PURENESS AND INNOCENCE KNOWS NO BOUNDS I CANT EVEN OMFG
