"These are honestly the best x Reader Oneshots I've ever read." ~@-vivalaplu...
"Guys! Defense Against the Dark Arts is outside today, remember?" You laughed as the four marauders went to walk to the classroom. "I knew that," James coughed loudly and began walking towards the grounds. "We're already late, let's go!" Remus pressed. Once outside, you pushed past a gaggle of students (or rather you followed the path Sirius made pushing past students) until you saw what everyone was staring at. You pretended you weren't late to class and focused on what the Professor was saying. "–male warriors. Now, the chainmail is large, worn underneath, and the armor is placed over it. All of it is larger than usual so the wizard has room to move around if there is hand-to-hand combat. The armor is, of course, enchanted to be lighter and more durable. Get into groups of two, preferably with a male student, and try on the armor. Again, the armor is meant for males, and is quite large. Have fun." Before you could even look around, Sirius had grabbed your arm and rushed to the pile of armor. He grabbed a large chainmail-shirt sort of thing, metal epaulettes (shoulder caps, shoulder guards, whatever), a chest guard, and a leather strap. "Sorry, I wanted to go before it was a bloodbath," he chuckled. The class spread out across the grounds. You saw Remus partnered with Peter, and Lily partnered with James. Sirius began to pull the chainmail over his head, when the Professor spoke again. "Remember, this is for protection against monsters. Protection!" Sirius laughed quietly. "What?" "Stay protected," he chuckled darkly, then winked. You flushed a deep pink, giggling softly. Once the chainmail was over his head and through his arms, he beckoned to you. "I need help with the shoulder pad thingies," he muttered, struggling with the armor. "I think they're like metal epaulettes," you informed, securing one of them to his arm. He rolled his eyes. "Whatever." The chest guard was easy, and he finished it off with the leather belt strapped to his chest. As it turned out, the belt contained a sheath, which, sadly, had no blade. You took a step back. "Well?" Sirius grinned widely, striking poses.

You laughed loudly. "Perfection, General!" "Whatd'ya think? Could I possibly command a battalion?" He mined unsheathing a blade and hacked at the air. "Of course, General Black," you smiled. Sirius pushed a lock of hair out of his eyes and surveyed the grounds.

While he was distracted, you took the opportunity to gaze distractedly at the broadness of his shoulders and his gorgeous Quidditch physique. He turned back to you, and you quickly looked away, blushing. "What?" "What?" "What're you 'what'ing?" "What're you 'what'ing?" "You were staring at me." "Yeah, well it's hard not to." Oh, great. Not what you had meant to say out loud. "Sorry, could you repeat that?" "No." "Damn you." You smiled, relieved. He walked past you, spotting James walking towards him, and murmured, "Though I am quite distracting, aren't I?" Damn that Sirius Black.
