You awoke to Sirius' arm tightening around your waist, pressing you to his chest. Since every girl in every house (including your own) went away for the Holiday, you had started bunking with the boys, Sirius especially. You smiled, tapping his arm.
He groaned.
"Siiiriuss," you whispered softly.
"Mmh?"
"Wake up!" You shook his arm.
"No..." He moaned, lifting his arm from your waist to fix his pillow.
You took the opportunity to turn and face him.
"Pleeeaaase!"
"No." He tugged you closer, so your head was rested on his bare chest, right at the base of his neck.
You heard his heart beating, sure and steady.
"Come on, Sirius! It's Christmas!" You pleaded, lacing your fingers through his.
"It's Christmas?" He asked. You felt his vocal chords vibrate above your forehead.
"Yes, its Christmas, you dolt. It was Christmas Eve yesterday!" You scoffed.
"Oh. Well, can't we just stay in bed?" He suggested alternatively, nuzzling your hair affectionately.
You giggled.
"You really are part dog! Stop it! That tickles!"
Oh, no.
You looked up with wide eyes to meet devious gray ones.
He arched one of his perfect brows.
"Ticklish, eh?
"Um..."
He grinned evilly.
You felt his fingers untangle from yours and dig into your side.
You squealed loudly and, as instinct forced you to, brought your knees to your chest.
"HOLY SHIT!" Sirius roared.
"What?" You wiped the tears from the tickling fest away from your cheeks.
"YOU JUST KNEED ME IN PLACES THE SUN DOESN'T SHINE!" He yelled.
I cringed.
"Yeah, sorry, but you kinda deserved it," you giggled nervously.
"Whatever," he grunted.
"Let's go get presents! I–"
"Sirius? You alright?" James called up.
"Yeah, he's fine!" I called back, stifling a snort.
"Let's go," Sirius glared and rolled out of the bed. You laughed and hopped off the mattress, linking your arms and walking downstairs.
