But idk I could be wrong.

So, without further ado, here's the Oneshot!

"Sirius?" You turned, only to find the fireplace.
     The fireplace.
"Sirius!" You ran to it and leaned over the flames. Sirius's face was visible, haggard and gaunt. You stifled a sob.
"You kept the ring," his lips tilted up in a ghost of a smirk.
"Yeah. Yeah, I kept it," your voice cracked. Tears formed in your eyes, hissing as they hit the burning wood.
"I want to touch you. I want you to be here with me."
"You know I can't be. Think of how much trouble you'd be in if you were seen with me. Besides, I'd probably be arrested on sight."
"I believe you, you know. I know you didn't do it."
"And I know you know. You're the only one that does."
You shook your head, tears leaving your face sticky from the salt.
"That doesn't matter. I believe you. You don't need anyone else."
"(Y/N), I'm an escaped convict. I do need someone else. Otherwise we can't have a life together. And I want a life together. I want us to have a family. I want us to be happy."
"Sirius I'm happy just seeing you alive. I didn't know if I'd ever hear your voice again!"
You looked him over, a pain in your chest when you realized how scarred he would be.
     "Sirius...?"
"God, (Y/N). I just... I just want to be with you."
     "Merlin, I do too."
"You know it's impossible, right?"
"What?"
"Starting a family. Having a normal life. That's out the window."
"...Yeah."
"But..."
"But... what?"
"We could maybe... forget it. It's stupid."
"What?"
"Nothing."
"What?"
"I dunno... get married?"
"Sirius."
You gazed into his eyes, wishing you could see them in front of you, silvery in the half-light, full of mischief and self-confidence. You doubted they would ever look like that again.
"I told you it was stupid, I–"
"We'd need to do it in secret. Maybe get a muggle priest. I want to make it official. We could obliviate him after. Or imperious him, if it came to that."
"You're... you're actually considering it?"
"Sirius, the thought never left my mind."
You sat in silence.
"Tomorrow," he said. "Tomorrow at 5:30 in that cave by the Prewitt's old safe house."
"Okay."
"I'll see you then."
"Yeah."
He didn't leave.
"I love you."
"I love you, too."
He disappeared.
You allowed yourself a few seconds to mourn. Then, you got up, sat down at your desk, and began to do your job.

The next day, in the cave...

You apparated to the house. No one was there.
You saw a tall man walk towards you from the cave. He began to jog.
Sirius.
You both broke into a run, colliding and falling onto the ground. You sobbing and clung to him, not caring about his tattered clothes or his dirty appearance. His unshaven chin was rough against your forehead, but you barely noticed.
"(Y/N)," he mumbled, pressing his lips to yours.
Your vision was blurred, your eyes feeling the warmth of your tears.
You kissed him for the first time in thirteen years.
When you pulled away, you let out a broken laugh.
"You fixed your teeth. Shouldn't they be rotten?"
He grinned, showing a spark of happiness you though was lost forever.
"Couldn't kiss you without my signature pearly whites, could I?"
You kissed him again, smiling widely.

You and Sirius stayed there, lying on the ground in the middle of nowhere, kissing or talking or just sitting in silence.
You didn't bother to ask why he didn't shave, or why he didn't change. You couldn't care less. You were with Sirius. Nothing else mattered.
Sirius had somehow, with a little coaxing and an unforgivable curse, gotten a muggle priest to conduct the ceremony. (A/N: Sorry if you're offended by a priest, but I'm Catholic and this is how I'd get married lol)
"Do you, Sirius Black, take (Y/N) (L/N) to be your lawfully wedded wife, through sickness and health, as long as you both shall live?"
"I do."
"And do you, (Y/N) (L/N), take Sirius Black to be your lawfully wedded husband, through sickness and health, as long as you both shall live?"
"I do."
"By the power invested in me, I now pronounce you husband and wife. You may kiss the bride."
Sirius kissed you softly, gently, as though you might fall apart.
You though he could be right.

There was no celebration. No cake. No one to celebrate with. There was only the wedding bands Sirius had stolen from a muggle jeweler.
"I love you."
"And I love you," You told Sirius for the millionth time. That was all he seemed to be able to say.
That, and "I missed you."

You and Sirius went into the safe house. You dressed for sleep and curled up in the bed, Sirius holding you tightly.
"I love you, Sirius," you murmured.
     "I love you, too, (Y/N)."

   What do you think?
   Continuation?
