"Loreeeeelaiiiiiii!" Luke called from downstairs. "Where are you?"

"Hold on!" Lorelai called, trying to find her cashmere cardigan.

"We're gonna be late!"

"Hold on!"

Luke plopped down on the couch, and Jess began laughing. "What?" Luke questioned.

"You two are perfect for each other." Jess's words were sincere.

"Thank you, Jess. Loreeeelai, come on!"

"Hold-"

"I swear if you say hold on one more time, I'm going to run upstairs and pick you up and take you to the-" Luke stopped as he saw Lorelai walking down the stairs, her hair all curly and her outfit fitting perfectly on her gorgeous body. "Lorelai...wow."

"What?" She laughed and hugged Luke. "I'm just wearing a cardigan and jeans. The special stuff isn't in till later." She winked.

"You're stunning."

"Mom, does this look okay?" Rory came out wearing a dark green dress with black lace at the top.

"Oh honey, you're beautiful!"

"Yeah, Rory. You are very pretty." Luke added.

Jess stared in awe at the wonderful, amazing woman that stood in front of him.

"You like it, Jess?" Rory playfully twirled and smiled.

"Yes, it goes with your eyes and hair." Your eyes and hair? Jess why are you so nervous, you're not 17 anymore.

"Thank you."

Lorelai pulled Rory over. "Have you told anyone else?"

"Hmm?"

"About the baby..."

"Oh..no. Only you." Rory looked around anxiously. "Shouldn't we get going?"

"Sure, hon." Lorelai grabbed her hand. "I love you."

"I love you too, mom."

The girls, Luke and Jess all got in the car and headed to the church where the wedding was going to take place. Jess sat next to Rory and noticed that she was looking worriedly out the window.

"Hey, what's wrong?"

Rory was startled. "Huh? What?"

"You look upset..you okay?" Jess pondered.

"Yeah." Rory lied. "I'm fine."

Jess could tell she was lying but didn't press the issue any further. "Okay..."

As they arrived at the church, Lorelai got into her dressing room with her bridesmaids including Emily, Rory, and Sookie. Rory was her maid of honor and was preparing her speech. Lorelai put on her dress, an elegant white gown with pearls.

Luke was preparing with his black suit and had Jess with him. Both looked beautiful and were waiting to see each other.

Rory walked out to get some air as her stomach began feeling queasy. Jess decided to step out as well.

Rory sat on the chair outside the room, leaning her head in her hands. She felt like crying, the tears threatened to pour out of her eyes. She didn't want to steal the thunder from her mom, who'd been waiting for this day for her whole life. Not noticing Jess, she finally let her emotions flow.

"Hey, hey, hey..." Jess rushed up to and put his arms around her. "Sweetheart, what's wrong?"

Rory felt herself laughing, flashbacks of her crying and Dean comforting her when she didn't deserve his affection. "Nothing's wrong." She went back to crying, stifling a sob she attempted at speaking more. "I'm p..p..perfectly f..f-"

"Come here." Jess leaned in closer and she rested her head on his chest. He carefully stroked her hair and talked softly to her.

"I'm sorry." Rory apologized, pushing away from Jess to regain some composure. "It's just...Jess...I'm pregnant." The words left her mouth and hit her right in the face. "It's Logans'." With that statement, she found herself sobbing again, feeling like an idiot for letting this happen.

"Shhh...it's okay." Jess comforted to her surprise.

"You're not mad?"

"Why would I be mad?" Jess took her face in his hands.

"Because it's Logan's...we b..broke up last week." Jess didn't care. Well, he did but all he wanted was for Rory to be okay.

"Whatever happens, Rory..." he stroked her cheek to wipe away the stray tears. "I'm always here. I always was, and I always will be."

Rory felt intense comfort in his words. She was falling for him again. What was she going to tell Logan?

Sorry to end on a cliffhanger...but we're Gilmore Girls' fans...we know was disappointment feels like.
