Jess threw papers this way and that, searching all over the house.
"It has to be somewhere," Jess pondered. "Where is it?"
He knew it was wrong to go through Rory's personal belongings. But he had to find it. That little yellow note with her iCloud password on it was somewhere.
Damn, he was worried. He knew if he could just find her password, he could log into Find My iPhone and track where she was. Jess felt the tears stream from his eyes. His mind raced with potential situations. What happened to my poor girls? Are they okay? He was so worried that they got kidnapped.
Luke held Lorelai as she sobbed. "What if Rory's hurt? Who'd take a woman and kids? This is sick. I hate this world. Where's my baby?"
Luke tried his best to reassure her. "We're looking for her. We have the whole neighborhood trying to find where she is. The police will be one it. Honey, we'll find her."

Meanwhile, Rory kept driving. Her kids were still asleep, exhausted from the long car ride. She took a deep breath and looked at the clock. It was nearly 11:00pm. She'd give the girls baths in the morning and worry about brushing their teeth then. Rory was ready to sleep.
*****
Jess kept checking around the house for his wife's iCloud password. He searched Rory's computer. Come on, Rory. Where do you keep your passwords? He thought. Jess searched through her notes. After hours of searching, Jess felt like giving up. He hadn't slept in a long time.

Rory heard the sound of her phone buzzing. It was 3:00 am. She looked at the call log: 250 missed calls. She was going to call them, she really was. But, not yet. She wanted to wait until she could think clearly...wait until she actually got to Seattle. Turning off her phone, Rory tried to focus on driving. But her mimd raced.

Lorelai stared at the ceiling. How could this happen? Nothing bad ever happened in Stars Hollow. Lorelai thought that something was off, she started believing that Rory and the girls weren't kidnapped...but that she had run off with them.
*****
Jess stood up from the computer chair, kicking a nearby bookcase in the process. Due to the impact, a book that sat precariously on the top shelf fell to the ground. Picking it up, Jess noticed a small yellow paper in the front. He looked at it and couldn't believe his eyes: it was the password! Jess almost laughed at the circumstances.
He quickly got on the computer and logged on.

It wasn't good. This really was not good. Rory had so much guilt. She had made everyone so worried. Her mom, Luke, Jess, Lane, her dad, and even Logan. Lorelai texted him and he was already trying to get together a search team.
She had to face the music...but in the morning. She'd be in Seattle in several hours.
*****
No. Jess laughed. No way. He stared at her location. Seattle, Washington? Jess cursed aloud. "You little bitch!" He yelled, throwing Rory's computer across the room. "You conniving fucking shit." Jess was trembling. "I'm gonna fucking find you..."
*****
Lorelai came to realization that Rory must have ran off with the girls. It explained the distance she had between Jess, the complaining, the inability to make up with him.
Lorelai grabbed her phone and called Jess.
"She left," Jess yelled into the phone before Lorelai could even get a word in edgewise.
"I know," she answered.
"I'm leaving for Seattle. I'm getting my kids back,"
Lorelai knew impulse decisions would not work out well. "Jess wait-" she started, but Jess already hung up.
