Rian's POV
"Bakit naman kailangang kasama ako?" I whispered, making sure irritation is within my tone.
He glanced at me while driving and shrugged his shoulder. "I just want to be with you." He said with a smile.
I thank time for being my bestfriend. I really moved on. Those words together with his smile have nothing to do with it anymore.
I just shook my head and looked at the window.
"Aiden, sa kanto nalang ako bababa, anak." Mom said from behind.
Magkatabi sila sa backseat ni Rain. Mom sat in because she'll be delivering cupcakes.
"Yes mom."
I looked at him and found him grinning at me like he's expecting my expression.
Mom chuckled.
He stopped the car on the sidewalk. "Kiss gra-ma, Rain."
Rain kissed mommy and bid good bye. Mom made sure Rain's secured before getting out of the car.
"Saan tayo pupunta?" I asked as he started to drive again.
"We'll go to AC's place before we go to a mall."
"Ano namang gagawin natin don sa mall?"
"Honeymoon siguro."
He reacted.
"Kung wala lang yang anak mo bakal ang ihahampas ko."
"Eh ikaw kasi. You're one of the Filipinos who still ask the obvious. What does people usually do in mall?"
I just rolled my eyes. "Malay ko ba kung kakain lang o ano pa diyan."
"It'll be the first time to bond with my son. Do you think I won't make it memorable?"
"Kung sa 'kin lang kasi, sumpa ang makasama ka." I whispered but I think he heard it.
He didn't say a word, neither.

"Good morning sir." The guard greeted.
His English wasn't that good at all but I salute the humbleness in his words and actions.
"Good morning." Aiden greeted back with a smile.
We just arrived at the restaurant I am working at. Aiden's holding Rain's little hand like he's a very proud father. I'm just at their back like their maid.
The guard's smile slightly faded when he looked at Rain then at Aiden, then to me. Maybe he saw the resemblances.
Many greeted Aiden as we walk in. Yumuyuko nalang ako dahil alam kong nagtataka sila kung bakit kami magkakasama. Some of my co-workers knew my son.
"Daddy! Ice cream!" Rain shouted.
And I know, that's the reason why almost all of the staffs looked at them. He just called Aiden, the certified player, 'daddy'!
Aiden chuckled, ignoring the stares. "Later baby. Okay?"
Rain just nodded.
We continue to walk until we reached the office of Mr. AC.
"Yo dude!" Aiden opened the door and greeted impolitely.
Mr. AC who's behind his desk, doing some stuffs showed anger but smiled when he saw Rain. "Hi." He greeted. "I'm uncle AC."
"Uncle AC?" Rain cutely said.
"Yes." Mr. AC looked at me. "Hi Rian."
"Hello sir."
"Please sit there." He pointed the couch on the living area. "I'll ask my NEW secretary to bring foods. I need some time to talk to your daddy." And he looked at Rain.
I nodded. Mukhang seryoso ang pag-uusapan.

Their talk only lasted for 15 minutes. We left the restaurant and drove to a mall.
"Wow daddy! Bili mo po 'kong cars?" Rain excitedly asked and cupped Aiden's face.
"Toy cars baby." Aiden said while laughing. "And clothes, and shoes, and foods, and many toys. Anything."
I stared at him and saw sincerity all over his playful face.
"Thank you daddy! Para akong si Ariel na din daddy. I have my daddy."
My tears wanna fall down.
"Of course baby. Dad's here." He said and kissed Rain's forehead.
And a tear fell.
I blinked when I felt his hand on my hand.
"Baby, I want you both to be happy. Don't be guilty." He whispered and kissed my cheek.
I blushed. I thought time was my bestfriend. Why do I have this feeling? Because his voice was pure and sincere? Because you never saw this side of his before? Is that it?
I wiped my tears and tried to pull my hand but he didn't let go and started to walk instead.
We entered a fastfood restaurant and a waiter approached us, guiding us to place where we can comfortably sit in.
"Eat muna baby, para hindi ka magutom later." He said to Rain and kissed his cheek.
Rain nodded. "Daddy gusto ko malaming chocolate."
Aiden smiled. "Chocolate is daddy's fave too."
"Utal pa rin siya sa 'R'. Intindihin mo minsan." I butted in.
"I'll always understand him." He said to me.
A waiter approached us again. "What is your order, sir?"
Aiden started to utter foods and didn't even ask us.
"Other than chocolate. What are his other favorites?" He suddenly asked me and let Rain watch outside through the glass wall.
"Strawberry. Maybe he got it from me."
"Yeah. I can still remember you eating too much berries." He said and stared. "I want to give us a chance, Aloha. Let me explain my side why I left you."
"No need, Aiden. I don't need it. Maging masaya nalang tayo. Rain needs the both of us but we don't need each other."
His eyes became sad and pale. "Bu-"
"Daddy!"
Agad naman kaming napatingin kay Rain. He's still looking outside.
He was looking at the young couples, kissing each other's lips!
"Daddy! Kiss din kayo mommy!"
Parang napaso ang kamay ko sa narinig ko.
Aiden chuckled and I glared at him.
"Please! They said, if mommy love daddy kiss the lips." And he pouted.
I was about to protest but the idiot here crashed his lips into mine for seconds.
Like other mommy and daddy!"
