Rian's POV

"Kailan po uwi po daddy?"

I pulled Rain closer to me while patting his butt.

"Why don't you just go to sleep baby?" I murmured. "Malapit nang dumating si daddy. Baka tomorrow night meron na siya."

"Matagal po siya pong wala mommy eh. Where daddy go?"

"Daddy went to papa Nick baby."

"Bakit po ang tagal po mommy po? Gumawa na ba siya ng brother ko kaya ang tagal niya?"

I nearly choked to my own saliva with what he said.

Sa lahat ng naisip niyang rason 'yon pa? Anak ka talaga ng tatay mo anak.

But... sana naman hindi. The thought of him with other girl makes me shut my eyes close.

Don't you dare do unnecessary things Tris Aiden Mendoza.

"Mommy! Antok na ako po."

"Oh. I'm sorry baby. Sandali lang ha, gagawa ako ng milk mo."

I stood from the bed and made him a milk.

It's more like two weeks when he left. And we both miss him.

"Rian, Tony is on the phone." Mom said who suddenly appeared here in Rain's room.

When Aiden left, I have slept here in Rain's room together with mom.

And Tony... on the phone.

Tony keeps on telling me to attend their wedding three weeks from now. I wonder what is it that he's going to tell right now.

I started shaking Rain's bottle and smiled at mom. "Okay mom. I'll be taking it. Would you stay with Rain here for a while?" I asked as I hand Rain his milk.

"Sure sweetie. Of course it's fine."

She gave me the phone and went beside Rain.

"Hi Tony." I greeted while walking out of Rain's room.

["My love..."]

I chuckled. "Are you going to invite me again?"

I made sure sarcasm is in my tone.

["Yes I am inviting you again." He chuckled.]

"Come on dude. It's three weeks from now and it is surely glued in my mind to go to your wedding."

["Yeah. But it's not what I'm inviting you right now."]

"What is it then?"

["I'm going back to Italy tomorrow night. Would you mind to spend some time with your best friend?"]

"Oh..." I murmured. "Sure Tony. We never had a time together since you arrived here and it makes me feel guilty."

["Oh don't be. It's your prize for marrying a jealous guy."]

"Yeah thanks for being a bully."

["You know you're always welcome." He cleared his throat. "It's getting late my love. I'll just pick you up tomorrow before lunch. You can bring your little kid you know."]

I nodded. "Sure. Good night."

["Good night love."]

I ended the call and stared at the phone... hoping to see Aiden's name to pop in the screen for a call. But I hoped for nothing.

Maybe he's busy with work.

That's right. He's just busy. He loves me and our son.
