Rian's POV

"Mommy! Where is daddy?"

I sat on the bed and wiped my cheeks to make sure he won't be aware that I wept.

"Hindi ka ba tinawagan ng dad mo?" I asked and pulled him down on my lap.

He shook his head. "No mommy eh."

I showed him a fake smile. "Don't worry baby. Baka mamaya uuwi na si daddy." And I kissed his cheeks.

He misses his daddy so much. Three days have passed and we haven't seen him. He'll just call and talk to Rain for minutes, buy some stuffs and it will be delivered here. No more else.

Rain said he is in Aurora. And we don't know what he is doing there.

"Sige po mommy po. Buy tayo ng toys pag meron na po si daddy po ha?"

"Toys na naman anak?"

"Eh kasi mommy wala ako kalaro eh." He pouted.

"Hindi ka naman lumalabas ng bahay eh."

"Kasi po they say wala ako daddy." He scratched his nape. "At wala daw po 'ko brother po."

I was speechless as the pang of guilt hit my head off.

"Mommy sabi pala po gra-ma let's eat." Rain again said.

I nodded. "Okay baby. Wait for me here. Magbibihis lang ako." I stand up. "Sino nga pala ang kasama mong umakyat?"

He looked away and smiled.

I made a face and kneeled in front of him. "Di ba sabi ko sa'yo wag kang aakyat mag-isa?"

He nodded.

"Eh bakit mo ginawa? Inutusan ka ba ni mommy?"

He shook his head.

"Eh ano?"

"Kasi po, may bigla po siya visitor po." He answered with his head down.

I sighed. Tinakasan na naman niya si mommy.

I held his little hands. "Don't you do it again."

He nodded.

"Okay. Wait for me here. I will put on my robe."

He nodded so I stood up and walked to my cabinet.

"Mommy bakit wala po ako brother po? Buy me one."

I turned at him and saw sadness on his face. "Anak, hindi binibili ang brother."

"Ginagawa po siya po?"

"Who told you that?" I asked with my eyebrows creased.

"Si mommy po si Ariel po. Para daw po may playmate ako. Like Ariel, he always plays with Aris." He exhaled deeply. "Paano po yon mommy po?"

"Ahm... baby, I will tell you soon. Let's go down?"

"Mom? May bisita daw po?" I asked mom the moment I saw her downstairs.

She nodded. "It's actually your visitor."

"Sino mom?"

She smiled. "You'll be surprised." He offered her hand to Rain. "Let's go. I cooked your favorite. You escaped from me again." Then she looked at me. "Go to the garden. He's waiting there. Ako na ang bahala kay Rain."

I nodded. "Thank you mommy."

She just smiled and walked with Rain down the stairs.

I smiled. Mom and I are in good terms now. Her sadness slowly vanished as I cry in front of her.
