Chapter 23

"Your kids are gorgeous!" Emily said with a grin spreading from ear to ear.

"Thank you, do you have any kids yet?" I asked her since it really has been years since I've seen her.

"Oh no haha. I actually can't have kids.." he weakly smiled while running her fingers through Bonnie's hair.

"What?" I gasped.

"Yeah I found out about 3 years ago?" She questioned her self as she tried to remember.

"Oh my god I'm so sorry.." she just weakly smiled and shrugged it off.

"Anyways have you found your dress yet?" She asked going back to her positive self.

"No I haven't, Alex and I didn't think we would even have a wedding with money and time being so tight."

"How are you able to do it now?"

"My brother said he would pay for it, him and I are still very close."

"Oh my god I miss Tyler so much!" I giggled. The three of us used to be really good friends before my family moved away.

"Well you know I could call him and his boyfriend to come over and say hi."

"That's be great!" She nodded as she spoke.

I pulled my phone out from underneath my leg and dialed Tyler's number.

"Hello?" Tyler's raspy voice spoke.

" hey ty, are you busy?"

"No not really why?"

"I wanted you to come over for a little bit."

"Okay I'll wake up luke and we will be over soon."

"Okay love you."

"Love you too."

After we hung up I told Emily the news.

"So when is the big day?"

"It's in December."

"Woah you only have a month and you don't even have your dress?!"

"I know I'm so behind, I mean it's not going to be a big wedding but there's still a lot to do."

"Exactly! First thing tomorrow morning we are going dress shopping." She made the plan without me saying yes or no.

"Okay haha do you want me to stop by your house and we go from there?"

"That's fine with me, I have to get going but I will see you tomorrow."

"Okay, don't forget to send me your address." I said as I walked her out the door.

" I won't." She smiled.

After I saw her get into her car and drive off I closed the door and plopped onto the couch in the living room.

Before I could turn off the tv Tyler bursts through the door.

"I'm here."

" I see, well since you're here you can stay the night, but you and Alex are going suit shopping tomorrow."

" ok, colors?"

" hmm grey or navy blue suit and there is some baby pink accents to the wedding but otherwise keep it neutral." I replied as he nodded.

"Got any food?"

" look in the kitchen."

He walked in the back of the house and went through cupboards and the fridge making a lot of noise.
I went into the kitchen to see what he was doing.

" find anything?" I laughed.

" yeah I'm going to make a sandwich, want one?" I nodded since I felt a little hungry myself. Sitting at the counter I watched him make the food.

" so what time are we going tomorrow ?"

" I'm going with Emily first thing in the morning and Alex hasn't decided yet."

" Emily?"

" yeah remember my best friend from freshman year before I met Ryan?"

" oh the ginger?"

" haha yes the ginger."

" then yes I do. I thought you guys stopped being friends?"

" no we just lost contact when we moved." He slowly nodded and handed me my sandwich.

We are and watched some cartoons like we used to when we were kids, then headed for bed.
