It did not end up well. Here is how it happened.

Robert grew up the city of Hemlock in the magical word of Shite. He was the only person in the whole city who didn't have any powers. No shape shifting, no enhanced skills, no power of any kind. He was a lonely boy because of this and had to be homeschooled. His teacher, Mrs. Rivera, tried to find out a power he could have, but she couldn't find one. Mrs. Rivera could do all sorts of cool stuff with her powers of power replication, she could take someone else's power and make it her own as long as the person knew about it. The reason Robert thought he had magic was because of the work of Mrs. Rivera and his mother. His mother had telekinesis, so she used it to make Robert fly around places. Mrs. Rivera would copy her telekinesis and help him fly around as well. He never understood that he didn't have powers until one day when he was at the park with his parents. All the other kids his age were playing tag the power and who has the best power, Robert wanted to join them so he went over and asked them if he could play. The kids started laughing manically at him, everyone knew he had no powers. Robert stood tall and tried to fly. All he did was jump and it made the kids laugh harder. He ran crying to his parents. They had to explain to him that he had no powers, it ruined his entire life.
