This isn't your average playground boys Vs. girl's war, we are in grades 6-8th grade, so we have strategy and tactics and we know how to fight and plan war! The girls base is the treehouse, the swings on the tree house plus the surrounding area. Our base, the boys base, is on the small playground set that looks like this.

Except those swings attached to it are ours! We guard our base day and night, (When we don't have school), and the aim of the game is to steal everyone and put them in your jail on the other team

Except those swings attached to it are ours! We guard our base day and night, (When we don't have school), and the aim of the game is to steal everyone and put them in your jail on the other team. Our jail is on the bottom of the playset where we guard the prisoners. Our army is losing, though, somehow our team members keep not coming back from there fights. My ex, Penelope, is one of the three prisoners I have to watch right now and she's being really annoying. She's an eighth grader like me and she won't shut up about how the girls will rain grand supreme! Upstairs our leaders, Tommy and Benny, are making battle plans while others defend the outside of the base. The girls usually get us by catching us in huge butterfly nets, then pressing a pressure point in their neck to make them pass out, then bring them to the top level of the tree house. The girls haven't attacked in three hours and I am getting scared, what are they planning?

Dear Diary,  It's me, Jen,                                                                                               Girl's Team, 6:00 P.M,

We have been planning this for months! It's our best plan yet to get the rest of those stupid boys. We have most of them already in the jail upstairs, there being watched by Kerra, who holds a switchblade in her hand and will use it if they try anything. We all have a rule that we can't physically hurt each other in the war so she can't so a thing, but because of her reputation at school, those boys wouldn't move anyway. Right now we are at the first level of the tree house getting ready for the mission. It's actually really cool here and I will miss it when the war is over. There's bean bag chair's and even a mini fridge with soda and food in it! Our base, the treehouse, is in Eliza's back yard while the backyard across from it has the boys base. We have been playing this sense the end of the last school year. We all forgot why we started the war but it's a fun pastime. All of us play here and stay alert twenty-four seven, some of us have even brung sleeping bags from home. All of our parents think we are at some sleep-over that been going on for weeks, I don't know have Eliza's parents let us stay and stall for us. Whatever the problem was between us boys and girls, it won't end without a fight. Okay, so, back to the plan. Our leader, Hera, went to the store and bought knockout gas. We will come to their base and throw the knockout gas on it and quickly run away. After that is done we will take over the base for ourselves and wait till they wake up. After that, the war will be over and we will rain grand supreme! I will write about it when the deed is done.

OMG! It worked, it worked! As I sit here watching all the boys waking up with all the girl crowded around them they scream and shout in agony. A very handsome boy holding a notebook looks at me first thing when he wakes up.

"I knew you would win Jen," He says to me.

How did he know I would win? How does he know me?

"I bet you never saw it coming," I say and sit down on a bench.

He looks at me cautiously and sits up, many other boys around us are waking up too and the girls won't stop laughing, except for me of course.

"Jen do you know why this war started?" He asks me and leans aginst the wall gently.

"No I don't but it doesn't matter now," I say and stand up, "We won"

"This war was started because Eliza said that Girls were better at war than men, but I only came because of  only one thing,"  He says slyly.

"And what's that?" I say and roll my eyes.

Boys are shouting now about how they lost and laughing plus that noise wrecks my head. I don't even know how I heard what he said next.

"Because of you," He says and looks out the window.
