MESSAGE TO THE PUBLIC OF WHOEVER IS LEFT!
The disease started like most diseases do, with an asteroid and infected goop. The asteroid landed on a farm in Texas. It was reported to be shaped like a diamond and looked like it too. It has a slime that covered it at all times, the slime and the asteroid both have the disease. The main effects are slimy/oily skin that turns into jagged rocks around the body. This can take anywhere from a day to two months for all the effects to take place. When the crystal slime starts to get into the nether regions, (You know, your privates), and your face, you start to become a crystal. The disease is spread through the air and can survive for up to two years on platonic services. It's very dangerous and should be treated cautiously. All carriers of the disease must report to town hall for decontamination if you are in the early stages. Everyone else please stay calm and stay indoors. You have food generators and bathrooms in your homes so you should be able to live for a while. Our top researchers are working on a cure because they have found people immune to the disease. Anyone immune must also report to the town hall so you can be given compensation if you let them research your brain. You must come if you are immune or infected now, or the population will decrease to none.
"Mom......... how long have you known? Does this mean I am immune? Mom? Mom?" A dark-haired, fair-skinned, teenage woman asked her mother.
She watched as her mom packed her bag full of clothing and good luck charms. The teenager saw the crystals beginning to form on her mother's skin a while ago, but until the article never noticed what it was doing to the world. She never really paid any attention to anything other than Netflix and the internet, so she didn't see the world crumbling outside.
"Yes you are immune, so is your brother, we have to pack up and leave honey, just like the paper says," Her mother says to her softly.
"I AM NOT LEAVING THIS PLACE!!! I HAVE WHOLE SEASONS OF SUPERWHOLOCK TO WATCH MOTHER!!!!!!" She yells and runs out of the room.
Her brother, who was eavesdropping outside the door is in tears now. His sister, in an angry fit, walks outside of the house just a two policemen walk up the steps to her place. They grab her, handcuff her, put her in the police cruiser, and make her a mind slave to find a cure.
The never find one.
