"Wha........?" I say trying to come up with words.

I just came into my bedroom after school and find this monstrosity sitting on my bed. A blood-soaked letter in my handwriting dated three days ago. But I'm alive......... or am I? I'm I an apparition or a spirit? What am I? I let go of the blood-soaked letter when I hear footsteps behind me and see a girl, no older than me, standing there.

"You're probably confused, take my hand and I'll transport the memories into you," She says and smiles.

I don't know why I take her hand. Nothing made sense anyway so I did it. Memories start to flood my brain.

I am sitting, crying at the dinner table while my mom sits in front of me. Her face is void of emotions.

"All of us in this family or immortal, you can't die," She says.

I vaguely remember that was why I was crying. It was because everyone not in this family would die and we would live on. That I have witnessed a few too many murders in my life, and I won't be able to forget them. That I  won't be able to just die when I get old or die when I can't bare the pain anymore.

I look at the girl in horror. But before I could anything she spoke.

"You tried to suicide, you respawned my darling, you don't remember anything else do you? About who I am? Who you are?" She says quietly and looks away.

"Who are you?" I ask.

"Your girlfriend," She says in a tinier voice, "But that's not important right now, what's important is hiding you from the FBI, along with your family, we need to get you down to the bunker and quickly, I'll transfer your memories when I can"

She starts to walk out the doors of my room but I stand still. My mind is a mess trying to figure out every piece of the puzzle. The girl turns back and sighs, she points her hand at me and suddenly I am floating in the air.

"I really need to transfer those memories to you" She mutters as she moves away from the door while I am pulled by her telekinesis.

"But I am alive right?" I say.

"You won't be if you don't shut up, I could easily kill you," She says and sighs.

That's the story of how I respawned. Remember life is valuable. To do great things and strive to be your best is all I can ask for you to do.
