One day a girl and her friend were talking in the hallways on their way to their next class. Last night, both of the girls went to their other friend's party.
"I can't believe how small her house was," Crowed one of the girls.
"I know right! She didn't even have a big enough room for all of us to sleep in! Let alone enough space in her house for a fancy party!" Ranted the other girl.
"Don't even get me started on how dirty the house was! It was so atrocious!" Crowed the first girl.
They had no idea the girls whose house they where at was right behind them. She heard every word and ran away crying. She knew her family tried the best to provide her with everything they could. She knew her family wasn't the richest, she knew they weren't the cleanest, and most importantly, weren't the most social. The girl thought that her supposed friends wouldn't judge this but she was wrong. She never spoke to those girls again and became anti-social and shy. She wouldn't let any of the friends she did make go to her house and never let them meet her parents. The girl grew up to have mental disorders such as anxiety and depression but became a world renowned writer. The two girls who had made fun of her house got more social jobs but never understood why their friend disappeared on them.
Remember what you say, even when you think no one is around to hear it, can change someone's life drastically.
