Dear Lilla,
Sorry, I need to borrow this for awhile, it will keep me alive. But there is another way but for me, it's not working right now....
What? That's all it says! I am going to die because someone stole my key! I have to tell Kaylie! I have to! I quickly pick up my phone from off of the dresser and call her. She picks up on the first ring and I tell her my situation.
"I'll be over in ten minutes, we are going shopping!" She says.
"Shopping? For what?" I ask her.
"A new key for you!" She says and hangs up.
I slowly trudge to my dresser and get dressed in something decent for my last day alive. I knew we couldn't find another key, that one was given to me at birth from my guardian angel. They say they just found it next to me, but I know the truth. He came to me and gave me this key, telling me to wind up my heart every night to keep me alive. Then I hear a knock on the door and rush downstairs, expecting it to be Kaylie. But when I opened the door to my apartment I was surprised to see who it was. My guardian angel stands in front of me with a smile. His black wings open up to stretch the length of the short hallway. He always dressed in red for some reason and had horns protruding from the top of his head. His skin was red too for some reason, but I knew it would be impolite to ask why. He smiles a devilishly handsome grin at me.
"I heard your key got stolen, here, I don't want you to die," He says and hands me and new key necklace.
The new key is shaped like a like a circle with a bull head in the middle, then along the outside, it has some writing from an unidentifiable language. It was exactly like my last one.
"Thank you so much," I say to him.
He nods curtly and his horns scrape the ceiling.
"Now Lilla can I wind that up for you?" He says.
I look at him with a nervous expression, no one has ever wound me up before except myself. I trust him because he is my guardian angel, he would neve hurt me. I nod my head and hand the key to him.
"Okay, wind me up," I say.
He takes the key from me and places his hand on my heart. I feel a slight burning feeling, unlike the usual nauseousness of my stomach as my heart comes out of my skin. As soon as everything moves out of the way of the heart my angel puts the key into it and starts to wind it up. I feel a dizzying feeling. Then Fatigue and nausea hit me. I stand still and look at my angel, this normally never happens. Then the world begins to spin, then blur into a massive bunch of red. I fell to the ground.
I woke up in Hell.
