Stefan's P.O.V
Even though Caroline was a petite girl, she was a vampire. And with the word vampire, comes the stupid super strength with it. I felt like she was going to yank my arm off, she was capable of it. I rolled my eyes as she dragged to to my own front door.
"Caroline. I do know where my own front door is." I said sarcastically, it seemed that after living with my brother for over three years now had finally started to effect me.
"Oh stop being so... Damon-y." She improvised, rolling her eyes. She released me and Tyler, obviously so I could unlock the door. I slid my hand into my back pocket and retrieved the set of keys banging around inside. It was now my turn to lead the way.
"He'll probably be in his room, tactically hiding the ring." I scoffed, rolling my eyes. "This way." I turned my head and grinned at Caroline, she did not look amused. She entered Damon's bedroom, where he was sitting at the end of his elephantine bed, on the phone to someone, He turned his head and smiled at us.
"No... No Ric, I think I'll pop the question by the end of the week. I'm not a patient person. OK... OK, bye." He finished up his conversation and slid his phone into his jacket pocket. "What can I do for you then?" He gave us a sarcastic smile.
Me, Caroline and Tyler all looked at one another, unsure of who should start the awkward conversation that was about to go down before us. Tyler nudged Caroline in the side, which wasn't a bad call. Caroline was Mrs. Persuasion in our eyes, and extremely up front about everything.
"Fine." She gave in to Tyler's begging brown eyes. "Damon, you can't marry Elena." She smiled as soon as she'd finished her sentence. Damon rolled his eyes and rose from his bed, sighing.
"How did I know this conversation would come up some time soon. How do I put this nicely?" He stopped to think for a second of two. "Caroline, I don't give a toss what you think. Elena and I are happy and I know she's ready for this."
"But... It's such a big commitment." I interrupted. Damon glared at me, shocked of my contribution.
"You too, brother? I thought you were on my side. You even helped me pick out the freaking ring!" Damon snapped, closing the gap between us and himself.
"Deep down, you know we're right. Wait a year or two, maybe then you will be ready. You don't want to rush into things, man." Tyler commented, Damon's eyes turned fierce.
"Okay, you." He glared at Caroline, "I don't care about your opinion, I knew it would be negative. You," he turned to Tyler, "are certainly someone I didn't expect to not want Elena to be happy. And you." He finally set his glare on my own eyes. "I really did not expect any of this from you. I hate to sound fatherly, but I'm disappointed in you. None of you can stop me and Elena from being happy. So shut it." He pushed through the middle of our trio and stormed out of his bedroom.
"This isn't the end of this, okay. There must be something else we can try." Caroline decided, breaking the silence.
"We could talk to Elena." Tyler suggested, Caroline's eyes glowed as she turned to smack a kiss on Tyler's lips.
"That's why I love you! Come on, she's at home, I think." Caroline squealed.
Elena's P.O.V
"We really need somewhere else to put this blood. What if I invite a girl over and she wants a glass of milk?" Jeremy laughed, retrieving a bag from the fridge. I rolled my eyes.
"Come on, I can't exactly leave them in my closet. They'll go all bad and stuff." I told him, laying across the couch with my legs spread out. Alaric walked into the room. "If someone were to be so kind as to buy me a mini fridge then we wouldn't be having this problem." I said a little louder, getting Alaric to hear me complain.
