Kabanata 2, Tape One

Hindi ko alam kung paano ako nakauwi ng mabilis, dahil na din ata sa gusto kong mapakinggan agad ang mga cassette tapes na tinago nina Monique sa kabinet.

"Hi An-"

"No time for that dad." I stopped dad from greeting me, sometimes it irritates me when he just greets me without any reason.

I get it, he just wants to say "hi", but sometimes it creeps me out when he just say, "hi" without any name, which wonders me why he is now old and he needs more attention, since their friend died when I was still in elementary.

"May pagkain dito."

"I'm not hungry." Agad kong isinara ang pintuan at humiga.

Mabilis kong inilabas ang unang tape na nakalagay sa bag ko. They are cassette tapes, so I need to find a Walkman, just to make sure than I listen to these tapes, they are old school, so good thing, my dad keeps his things on my room, because he said that it is more safe on my room. Like what the heck dad?! You just made my whole room a storage room.

As I place the first cassette tape, I wore the earphones and begin to listen, while I make sure I take every detail of what it is said on the cassette tape, I barely stood and immediately ripped a piece of paper and grabbed a pen.

As I was about to play the first tape, I was really nervous. Hindi ko alam kung anong laman ng cassette tape at baka sisira pa ito ng buhay ko or worse, hindi na ako papasok sa Play off Academy, especially there are so many hidden secrets that are been hid from the public.

Well, here it is. Good morning, good afternoon and good evening fellow listener. My name is Laurence Mondel, pwede niyo rin akong tawaging Laurence for short, my friends call me Laurence, my family calls me Rence and my kind sibling calls me Trash.

I really get the sarcasm there, kaya naman natawa ako sa huling linyang sinabi niya. Laurence huh? Anong kinalaman niya sa Play off Academy at bakit niya nirerecord ang mga ito?

I want to tell you each one of you the story behind Play off Academy, I will not give you too much details, cause I want it to find it on your own. I'm not playing around, walang lokohan ito, seryosong topic ito, especially that I am a newbie and I want to record each.

He is a new student on Play off Academy? Parehas kami, I want to know more about this. Bakit niya ginagawa ito? Pero ang sabi niya, sasabihin niya ang mga kaunting detalye tungkol sa paaralan, pero anong ibig sabihin niya?

There are 5 cassette tapes on the box as you can see. Each one of them has unveiled secrets. Cassette 2, 3 and 4 has side B, so bare with me. I am not here to tell you my adventure on Play off Academy, I have known this school for a while. Yeah, I have told you that I am newbie, but I already knew a little detail of Play off Academy's past.

Kinabahan ako, hindi ko alam kung anong gagawin ko pagkatapos na pakinggan ang mga ito, lalo na't baka sisira ang pangalan ng paaralan lalo na sa mga cassette tapes na ito. Baka yun din naman ang rason kung bakit itinago ito nila Monique, dahil baka masira ang reputasyon ng paaralan.

So, let us start on what happened before...
