Kabanata 32, Seventh Tape

When everybody was still asleep, I had the chance to sneak into Schuy's bag, kaya ang ginawa ko ay kinuha ko ang tatlong cassette tapes sa bag niya, I immediately got the chance to listen to tape #6, I did finished it and I was shocked to the coincidental things that happened after Monique said.

I've listened to the 5th tape and as I know, that tape was supposed to be empty. But Monique decided to fill it up, kung sila ay nagtataka kung bakit ginawa ni Monique iyon, so am I. I don't fucking know what was going on to what she said, but for the last time, I haven't listened to the last tape.

Sadly, Schuy broke down punching his brother, hindi ko inakala na gagawin niya iyon. I am still in unhealthy condition, my mind is still not on set, gusto kong mapakinggan ang napakasakit na katotohanan mismo sa kanilang mga bibig. I know what they are keeping and I must hear that to them than hearing that into my head!

"Ano?"

Schuy was shocked. Kinuha ko ang tatlong cassette tapes sa ilalim ng unan ko at nalaglag ang panga nila ng makita iyon saakin. I already knew that Sullivan was hiding Schuy's bag but sadly the prank went gone wrong.

"Andito saakin ang cassette tapes. I snuck into your bag and stole this, but it wasn't for negative issues but for some positive issues."

Alam kong naguguluhan siya sa sinabi ko. I know it seems crazy that I said it's for some positive issue, I mean stealing those tapes weren't a positive issue, it was a negative issue! I wasn't even thinking any of that since then, but I can say that these tapes are the evidence to everything.

"Bakit mo naman kinuha ang cassette tapes saakin ng hindi man lang nagpapaalam?" his face is full of irritation, I know everything is messed up maski ako nagtataka kung bakit ko kinuha ang mga tapes na iyon, maybe because of how curious I am and curiosity stabbed me again multiple times.

"I was too scared Schuy, akala ko magagalit ka saakin," I explained to him.

"Galit? Thenaya, I wouldn't be mad at you if you have just asked politely not steal it from me!" his voice toned grew, he is already mad to what I did.

Pumikit ako, I want to calm myself, I don't want to breaking down crying or panicking, I just want to calm and talk to him like a normal conversation. I may cry but I wish I will not panic in any instant time, maybe they'll think that I am already bonkers.

"Where's your Walkman?" malamig kong sinabi.

Their foreheads wrinkled and looked at me curiously! I just looked at them hardly enough to make them get Schuy's bag, gusto pa sana ni Schuy agawin ang kanyang bag pero wala na siyang nagawa, I caught his eye and he was trying hard to calm the fuck down.

Inilabas ni Sullivan ang Walkman, hinablot ko ito sa kanyang kamay at nilagay ang pang-pitong cassette tape sa Walkman, napagtanto kong hindi ito radyo, "Where's my bag?" ako naman nagtanong.

I politely gave the Walkman to Sullivan, mabilis ibinigay saakin ni Daphne ang bag ko, I opened it and saw my Walkman radio, inilagay ko doon ang tape and played it. I see the nervousness on their faces but I am just calming myself to just listen to the truth.

Rinig ko ang malalim na paghinga ni Monique, rinig ko rin ang pagsinghap niya ng kanyang sipon at rinig rin ang nanginginig niyang boses. Doon na ako kinabahan, kami pala. Kita ko ang kuryosidad namin sa tape.
