Chapter 30: ↠AllFiguredOut↟↡Pt 1↞

Thinking about my story, I can see why I might be able to help her. Unlike Andrea who would just let her do whatever she wishes. So I made my way back to the house, rounding the corner to the kitchen.
"Beth?"
A voice called out upstairs, assuming it's Maggie I continued on upstairs. Meeting her in the room we left her in. She looked on over to me and I shrugged, about to say that I was out at the stables. But the quick sob in the door to the right was enough for us to both go towards it.

"Beth!"
"Maggie!"
The sound of glass shattering followed with me and Maggie both banging on the door calling out her name.

"She's in there. I heard glass."
"Don't do this beth...Don't do this."
Lori took hold of my shoulder all while trying to hear through the door, but once Maggie moved from my side, she explained what happened.

"God, I left her with Andrea."

I looked to the mother beside me, and we both shared the same expression. Fear went through my body as Maggie continue to look for the key to the bathroom.

"Where's the key?"
"I don't know."

Having Lori move a bit out of the way, I took my knife from my belt. Holding it between the door, continuing to jerk it back and forth before I had gotten it open just the smallest bit.
Pushing the door on open did Maggie go in front of me to see Beth's back. And once she slowly turned on over towards me, blood gushed from her hand onto the floor as she tried to hold it.

Her sister went straight to her side to hold onto the wrist in danger before leading her out of the bathroom.

We had her settled in the guest bedroom, having her away from where the event took place while Patricia placed an I.V into her system, staying with her as I said Andrea was coming to the house.

"Where were you?"
"I heard. Is she all right?"
"She would be if you had stayed with her. Where were you?"

"How bad is she?"
Lori took the initiative to say that the cuts weren't deep, but the fact that there are even cuts on her body makes me worried sick of everything else that might happen. Beth's mind is running wild, she's lost hope and now has it returned. Not by the depth of the cut but because she stopped because she realized what she was doing.

That is what Andrea was trying to get at.

"She tried to kill herself."
"No, she didn't."

How much trouble would I get if I shot her as well? I mean, it is pay back for what she did for me. Keeping me in bed when I could have been out searching.

"My father is sticking her wrist right now."
Andrea was about to go into the house, but Maggie was quick to block her from going into the house. And that was the warning for her to follow, even when she looked to me and Lori for help. It ended with her walking away.

Looking back to my knife, seeing as how I chipped it getting the door open. I thought it best that I switch it out with my other one. So that is when I needed to go back to the camp I set up in.

His eyes spotted me the moment I got within hearing range, he rose from his position. Just dropping whatever he had in his hand before meeting me at the edge of the shade.

"Look I'm sorry about what I said..."
"Drop it...Just...Not right now."

Going into the tent did go straight through my bag, thinking my knife was in here. But the second I couldn't find it I continued to dig through both bags like a mad person. Making Daryl come into the tent to try and hold down my wrists.
"What happened to ya knife?"
"Broke it opening a door."
Throwing back down the bag I headed on out, just holding my head up again. Trying to get my hair out of my face for a god damn minute so that I could breath. And reevaluate what has happened in the last hour.
