Chapter 111: ↠AnyoneZenAroundHere?↞

And it was when I went on off to Carl, the only who didn't care if I was injured. Tackled me, the little boy I once knew him as only grew by the years. He was taller now, but even more so. Stronger than I remember.

"You have to come with me..."
Holding onto Carl as I heard my partner in crime talk. So we began walking, and it was short lived that I was going to fall behind. Even with the lack of shit I was carrying, I was just happy that I had my notebook with me. In my waist bag, don't think I would have left Terminus without it.

Daryl didn't even both having his bow on out, and be honest. Carl looked sort of adorable holding it like he knew what he was doing. It was just me trying to catch on up with the rest.

"Fallin behind?"
The redhead said, and I didn't really get the four new people's names just yet. So I just assumed that he was a friendly if Daryl nodded for him to help. He passed off his rifle and took my other arm. It felt like I was barely walking at this point, now that these two men were cruising by the rest.

"Names Abraham. That's Rosita and Eugene."

My eyes landed on another woman, I honestly didn't know her name either. So I just nodded in response to this man.
"Blake."
"Already had quite the introduction ma'am. Nothing says a good greeting like a fucking bomb going off."
I continued to chuckle, but that was the only sort of conversation given. Daryl and I were private for most times, it was clear he took my left side only to feel if I still had the ring. For he checked it every few seconds to see if it was still there.

Whether it was doubt or worry that I lost or took it off. Whatever it was, I just made faces half the time he would hold onto it.

Just everything stopped once I saw Tyreese hold onto baby Judith. Daryl must have nodded on off towards the help, for he was quick to know what was coming. My head just went on off towards his shoulder.

"I'm sorry..."
I mumbled, sobbing into his vest as I tried to hide it. From everyone new here. In turn, he had me rest against a crate. Trying to clean my wound without wasting anything that was in my pack.

"What are ya sorry for Bunny? Ya have nothin' to be sorry about?"
"The baby..."
"Ya safe. Ya healthy. Ya fine. We survived that. Ya can survive this."
The sting as he patched up my obvious gunshot wound, lucky for me it was clear through. Not hitting any bones or anything important, just nice to know Bob handled me pretty good as well. Tying it just perfect so I wouldn't be uncomfortable.

At this point we were just waiting on around, I loaded my guns. Took back my sniper rifle and had my waist pack form into the backpack it's been known for. Taking off my jacket and just having on the grey tank top that resembled Maggie's in a way. I was hot, beading a sweat by how fucking humid it was.

Especially under the poncho.

Hearing the baby cry, I looked on over towards Carl. Seeing Judith reach her little hands on over to me, I froze. Wasn't ready to hold her just yet, not in the sense that she wants me to. Especially with my leg. But when she just shrieked on louder. I nodded for Carl to hand her over.

The original group's eyes were all on me. I get that Abraham and his people don't understand this just yet, but I feel like I am all sorts of titles within this group. More than just Daryl's wife. We're family.

No other way to describe it than that.

Holding her against my chest, her head peeking out behind me. Her little hands just gripping everything, my ears, my hair, my shirt. Everything. Just a nice moment with her, and a look into the future I could have had with my little girl.
