Chapter 81: ↠BrotherlySacrifice↟↡ Pt 1↞

__

Tracking Daryl wasn't an easy task. I regret saying it wasn't going to be difficult, he knew I'd be sent to follow. But it was just that luck that I saw him up ahead, and instead of coming out and admitting to follow him. I just hid behind any and all things, he said I was one of the few people he could trust. This is the definition of it.

Hiding in plane sight incase he needs me.

I've never seen him like this, so moving at the fear that something happened to his brother. Hearing the talk I couldn't have been more than hurt at the fact that he didn't defend me as much as I wished. But that was all Merle getting into his brother's head, what if Daryl truly wasn't racist like his brother was?

That's all an act?

A different route was necessary, for I was getting far too close in open areas. Especially being spotted by his hawk-eyes. The familiarity of this place soon took a hit, for we were nearing the mills. So I took the backroad, running with my bow on my back now. Trying as hard as I could to connect at where the governor met with Rick.
And that is where I took shelter from the three Walkers outside, this was the place where everything had gone down. The threat to Michonne, the threat to us. Whatever Andrea had said did not work, and her ability to be a civil speaker failed. Believing she told me in the bathroom of the R.V took me back to the easier times, when we were fighting against walkers. Not people.

And now it's just a shit show.

In reality, I looked on over near the chairs. Taking my flashlight did I shine the light on the pistol that was taped to the table at the side. He didn't kill Rick when he had the chance, he just wishes to put war on all of us.

That is the sort of man he truly was.

Again did I take the pistol and shoved it into my pants, my bow out loose for there were the decent number of walkers coming on over. Firing one, and running to pull it out, only to re-enter another head was the strategy easiest in this situation. Only delicately keeping my fist leveled to not destroy the arrow.

Not having enough time do I reveal my knife and stab the walker in the eye, having one hand on its shoulder. Taking down the final one had me return to my fallen bow before I continued to move. Perhaps this wasn't the smartest idea I've ever had, but walking around the permitter was the best bet.

The mills where the little measuring contest Daryl had with the bat guy stationed right here. A growl had me scream and stab the dead women in the head before it fell to the ground before me. I have never been that much in thought over somethings so stupid that it wouldn't have me hear a damn Walker.

I need to concentrate.

Noticing a slick black car that wasn't parked before when we were last here had me follow this trail, along with the bodies just piling up. But the second I saw an arrow sticking out of the head of one, I knew he was here.

Rounding about the barn area, did I see him. Standing before a walker, in that one clear clear moment. Did I drop my bow to the ground once again, not on purpose. On accident.

My hand covered my mouth as the Walker that still resembles Merle continued to munch on a dead mans body. Before stumbling off towards Daryl. I was frozen, and Daryl did nothing more then back up the slightest bit before pushing away his brother. Again and against. Having the mindless walker spin and continue to come forth.
