The sun soon feel and there was no way we could see a few feet in front of each other, let alone follow tracks. But I managed to keep a low sounding step while Glenn here told the whole woods that we were here. A sigh up above made me look on up to Daryl, who was barely visible only by the moon's help.
"This is pointless. You got a light?"
I could tell Daryl looked dip pointed that he didn't whip that out earlier, but the second it was shined to the ground before us. I could see the shoe prints. Daryl was quick to jog as he followed them closely. Which only brought us in a circle."We're just back to square one."
"If you're gonna do a thing. You might as well do it right."
This was good, it meant that I can look back at the foot prints I saw to the shed and compare them to the ones that Randel or Shane. Walking a bit further beside Daryl did I sort them all out. I knew my own and Daryl's tracks, I guessed at both Rick's and Glenn's. Since we were halfway through this way already, it was easy to categorize."You seenin' this Blake? There's two sets of tracks right here. Shane must've followed him a lot longer than he said...There's fresh blood on this tree."
My eyes widened to the brink, they were dry in an instant as I couldn't keep my focus on anything but that. Shane purposely broke his nose. Like Daryl had said, there was no way that Randel could have gotten the jump on him like that.Me. A different me that didn't know much about survival...Is a different story.
"There's more tracks."
I said, dragging the flashing down into that direction. Keeping my theories to myself so I am deemed crazy if they are wrong, because in this world. An accusation is bigger than you think."Looks like they're walking in tandem...Yeah, there was a little dust up right here."
"What do you mean?"
Glenn accidentally bumped into Daryl's side and apologized quickly before the investigator continued to explain the prints. I sighed once more, every piece of evidence is proving my theory to be true."I mean something went down...Had a little bit of trouble."
Kneeing down to the ground did I find the eye cover they used on him. Assuming that it was the first things to be taken off, why was it this far into the woods if it wasn't otherwise? Glenn called it before, this was getting weird.A rusting behind us was enough to send us flying back into the backs of trees. A whistle that I looked onto showed me where the two boys are, stationed by a tree beside one another while my safest bet was a good few feet away. Shane claimed the man was armed, so this is a good plan as of the moment.
The footsteps soon shifted outwards, making me debate wether it sounded like a normal walk or the right shuffle a man who had surgery would make. So leaning out to the side that Daryl and Glenn were at, I looked for Randal.
Only to hear a growl coming from the opposite side, trying to aim my bow up was not an option since the Walker's gripping arms already had a hold on my shoulders. So dropping the bow did I try to hold him back...**
The banging knock at the door was not ignorable, even if I blast music. Would he not leave the confinements of my safe house, how ever he had found the address. So I opened the kitchen draw to arm myself with a knife. Just silently tip toeing through my apartment so he think's I'm not home. But one kick and it was open.
"Babe...Why aren't you dressed yet? I'm taking you out to dinner."
"I...I told you to stop calling me."
He made his way through the doorway, barely pushing on it with his hand.
