Chapter 115: ↠Hospital From Hell↞

__

Daryl Dixon's POV

I came back to the group readily split up and more than enough people suffering from shit. Beth's friend made nice company with Carl, but breaking the news to him...Saying that I lost her, was he more than upset, he was heartbroken.

Guess we're in the same boat with that one.

And with the fire being crafted, Sasha chopping the once said praying seats of this house of God into firewood. I knew she was grieving over Bob, who was a target. As were we, so it was a good thing we managed to get on out of the middle of fucking nowhere.

"It was good you weren't here for it."
Tyreese said, handing me another pipe from the organ. The grunts and slams of the wood breaking was worrying, and being here for less than an hour was tough. On all of our parts.

"She hanging in there?"
Big brother just looked to his sister, ad it was clear that it was a shot of a no. Not needing a verbal response.
"Are you gonna take the cross too?"
"If we need it."
We were securing this place, it was a temporary shelter for the moment. That is for the half of us, the others went off with Abraham and his little mission that couldn't wait until we were back.

"...He wants to go to Atlanta but I can't have that."
I heard in the back, for sure it was Rick. But that was the first time I would have thought him to be against saving Blake. I brought a truck for god sakes, might as well got the damn mini van with the amount of people coming with us on this trip.

"Then you stay. I'll go."
Michonne buffed up the conversation a little bit, we were going. I don't care if I have to follow Abraham's path to get those assholes to come save Maggie's sister and my wife. But there is going to be a fucking war if I've ever heard one, especially if Blake isn't okay.

"I owe it to Blake."
"We all owe it to Blake."
"I owe her more."
Assuming that meant for Carl and Judith and nothing fucking more, it still worried me when he gave me the nod he would have given me if I had no sort of clue. We were leaving Michonne with Judith and Carl. As Tyreese, Sasha, Rick and I were going to save our girls.

Father Gabriel was one of them too, but he was more of the worrying spectrum. I heard it was a slaughter when I left, they executed them with the hatchet Rick promised Gareth when we tied on up. So that was out of our hands. No longer an issue, and thank JC on in there for allowing that to happen.

The ride was all silent until we made it up to a reasonable spot to scope around the place. With the weapons we currently have in stock, and people.

I don't doubt we can't get them back.

Beth Greene's POV

Sway the mop too and fore like I would have done in the kitchen back on the farm, even in this sort of world. Only I didn't have cuts on my face and a patched-up arm. I tried my best to keep silent and listen in to the conversation. This wasn't my area of clean up, but I was doing my job and this place looked messy.

"Look, we are doing everything we can. Licari is out in sedan right now. If there is a sign of Noah, we are going to find him."
"You just told me that your plan was counting on him screwing up. That's some active police work right there....Was there anything else?"
My chuckle was guarded by Dawn's loud obnoxious voice trying to authorizing to the point of command, and at one point another. I was scared, but after getting Noah out and about so that he could see his family.
