Phoenix

"Queen, let's go!" tawag ko ng nahanda ko na ang sasakyan.

She ran out and she looked like Quiana on her white dress and flower crown.

"Dad! We need to buy flowers ha?" she said.

"Yes, we will."

Binuksan niya naman ang front seat at pumasok doon. She pouted.

"I really miss, mom...." she said. Tiningnan ko naman siya. "Anyways... Magtatagal ba tayo sa cemetery?" she asked.

"We need to." she nodded and buckled her seat belt.

Binaba ko naman ang bintana ng sasakyan ko ng kumatok doon si Stacey.

"Susunod kami sa sementeryo, Kuya. We will buy flowers pa." she said.

"Okay... Take care."

"Bye, Queen!" and she waved her wants to Queen. Sinara ko naman kaagad ang bintana at hinampas niya naman ito. Natawa naman ako.

Ba't di pa kasi manganak, hindi iyong anak ko ang kinukuha niya araw-araw sakin para makasama. Pareho lang sila ni Denzel, hindi pa humo-home run. Tsk tsk.

While driving Queen kept on saying how she missed Quiana. And I do too.

"She looks like lola Meredith here!" sabi niya sabay pakita ng isang litrato ni Quiana na nakangiti.

"Really?"

"Yes! When I grow up I want to be like mom too." I frowned.

"Why? Mas maganda ang genes namin, Queen." sabi ko.

She rolled her eyes at me. "Whatever!"

We went to the flower kiosk and bought flowers there. Inamoy-amoy naman ni Queen ang paboritong bulaklak ni Quiana.

"I really love Mom's taste!" she complimented.

"Kaya nga mahal ako ng mommy mo eh." I bragged.

Queen laughed so hard and it was really contagious.

Binuksan ko naman ng pinto si Queen. Tumakbo naman kaagad ito palabas.

"Queen, slowly." I shouted.

When Quiana left, I was the one who stood to be Queen's mother and it is really hard! I need to wake up early in the morning to make her cereal. Hindi kasi siya kumakain kung iba ang gumagawa. Tuwing gabi kapag dumating ako ay sobrang kalat ng kwarto dahil sa kanyang laruan at madami pang iba- but somehow, being a parent is really the best feeling. Kahit sobrang pagod ka sa kakasunod sa kalat niya at sa mga gusto niya kapag makita mong masaya siya, ay masaya ka na rin. I now feel Quiana.

"Oh! There's lolo and lola!" she said and ran to mommy and daddy. Kinuha naman kaagad siya ni daddy at binuhat.

"Lolo, I will go to school na next week! You said you will provide my savings ah!" she said. Napailing na lang ako. It's not me who spoiling my daughter- it's my dad. Kahit sa amin ay ganyan at hanggang kay Queen.

Dumating rin sila Denzel, Cyril, Kennedy at Stacey doon. They are preparing the food to eat here. Takbo ng takbo naman si Queen dahil nilalaro siya ni Kennedy.
