23- Long Distance Relationship

Chance's POV

"I really miss you, Denise.." then I sighed.

"Me too." she said, We're not seeing each other for two weeks. Since I went here on Las Vegas. Yes, I'm on Las Vegas. Why? Business matters of course. "When will you go back here?" she asked.

"3 weeks more, baby." I said.

She sighed, "Ang tagal nun! Hindi ba pwedeng dito mo na lang gawin yan?"

I shook my head, "No. Kung pwede nga lang, edi sana hindi na ako umalis, diba?"

"Okay. Aren't you going to sleep? It's getting late there." She said. Magka- skype kase kami ngayon. In my two weeks here, this is our second time on skyping. Geez.

"Not yet sleepy, baby. Hindi na nga tayo masyadong nakakapagusap e." I said then I pout.

"Oh, please Chance.. Sleep now. I do have a lots of stuff to do here." She said.

"What? Ipagpapalit mo ko dyan?" I said.

She chuckled, "Silly. I know you're tired, Chance. You'll get sick if you don't rest."

I smiled, "Concerned girlfriend, eh?"

"Of course. Now rest, boyfie. I love you!" She said then she winked.

"Alright! I love you more." then I shut down the laptop. I need to rest and finish this as soon as possible.

It's 10am in the morning and I'm here on restaurant in hotel where I am staying. I'm going to meet Jace.

May tumapik sa balikat ko at hindi ko na kailangan lumingon pa para tignan kung sino iyon, "What's up, man?"

I just looked on him, "I need your help, Jace." I said straight. I don't need to beat around the bush.

Umorder muna sya bago humarap sa akin, "For what?"

"I'm going to propose on Denise. I need your cooperation here." I said seriously.

Yes. I'm going to propose. I can't wait to marry her. I do love her since college. Now she's mine, I want a security. I can't afford to lose her.

"Okay. Count me in." He said.

I smiled. "Thanks!"

Nagtataka ba kayo kung bakit nandito 'tong mokong na 'to? Pinasunod ko lang naman sya dito.

"So kailan ka magpopropose?" He asked.

"Pag uwi ko, Jace. Mauuna kang umuwi sakin dahil ikaw ang magaayos nun." Sabi ko.

"Woah! Why me? It should be you!" He said.

I shook my head, "Oh, c'mon, Jace! Hindi ko maaasikaso yun hanggat nandito pa ako! I'm going to surprise her. I ain't gonna tell her kung kelan ang eksaktong uwi ko. So I need you here. I'm just gonna tell you what to do." It's true.  It's still my idea. Sya lang ang gagawa.

"Okay. Basta sagot mo!" He said.

"Of course. Stupid!"

Tinignan nya ako ng masama, "Ako pa stupid?! Ikaw na nga tutulungan dyan! Tss."

"Tss. I'm going now. May trabaho pa ako." Sabi ko at tumayo na.

"Ge. Kakain pa ako e. Ingat, bro!" Sabi nya habang nakatingin sa cellphone.
