Chapter 12

Shaye'S POV

It's been a week since I had MaKaiah I was serious with Mike. We are not together right now, but I did still come stay at his house cause that is where everything for my baby was since I was in the process of moving there anyways. No I do not sleep in the bed with him. I make him sleep on the couch or he sleeps on the floor.

"Shaye I'm bout to roll out with Chris, he bout to take me to drop my car off to get first. Then I gotta pick up MJ cause its my weekend," he said 

"Ok," I said changing MaKaiah's diaper not really paying him any attention. "Mama's baby made a little miss in her diaper huh princess," I said to Kai who was looking at me with those deep brown eyes like Mike's. I thought they said newborns sleep a lot. Well not my baby she be wide awake

"So you're ignoring me. For real Shaye its like that. I thought we got past this already that's why you came to stay with me," He said getting dress

"No you got past it. I was serious we are not together. Why you think you don't sleep in here with me & MaKaiah at night. I only came here cause this is where all her stuff & most of my stuff was," I said honestly

"Man whatever I ain't paying you no attention girl. But I'll be back, see you princess I love you. I love you too baby," he said trying to kiss my lips but I turned my head cause I was serious. I don't know why he think I'm playing with him 

"Well forget you too then. Princess yo mama phony," Mike said talking to Kai who was just looking at him like he was stupid

"Princess I know you don't understand but you're daddy is a lying, cheating son of a bitch," I said truthfully

"Don't do that. Don't tell my kids that shit seriously Shaye. That's some fucked up shit," Mike said

"I wasn't lying though. But whatever I'm bout to put her to sleep & take a nap too so bye," I said picking up MaKaiah's bottle putting it in her mouth. I know she's only a week old but she eats a lot already

Mike left with an attitude but I don't give a fuck. Me & MaKaiah took a nap until Imani called my phone & said she was outside

"Damn Shaye you look at hot ass mess," Imani said laughing holding MaKaiah

"Thanks, I mean I just had a baby a week ago. Its hot in here cause Mike need to get the damn air fixed so I got every right to look at hot as mess," I said

"I guess, but MaKaiah is so precious. Does she sleep good at night," Imani asked looking down at MaKaiah who is still sleep

"So far she does, but she be up a lot on & off during the day or when dumbass comes to wake her up for no reason," I replied

"So what made you come here. You know you could have came back to the apartment if you wanted," Imani said

"I know, but all her stuff is here & most of my stuff. Plus I didn't give you rent money this month cause I was moving here so I can't just mooch off you," I said

"Girl bye you, but I had an interview today Wells Fargo as a personal banker. They would be starting me off at $17 an hour cause I have a BA," Imani said

"Well damn, gone head get in so you can put me on cause funds are running a little low. I'm only staying here probably for 3 months cause I can't take Mike too much longer. Every time I see him I want to stab him in the fucking balls," I said honestly

"I'm glad I don't have to deal with that, but Mike was wronG. If I were you I wouldn't of even came back. But I understand ya'll got a kid now so ya'll gotta focus on her," Imani said
