Imani's POV

It was the weekend. Me & Shaye were hanging out. We went to the mall. I was not buying no clothes cause I'm fat, but I will buy my princess some stuff

"Why the fuck I gotta be pregnant with all this cute shit out," I said looking through the racks

"Shouldn't of been having unprotected sex. But if I was you I would still buy it cause yo won't be pregnant forever," Shaye told me holding Kai on her hip while she looked through the racks

"Good thinking cause I'm breast feeding & working out the day after I have her. I am not keeping this weight on me," I said seriously

"Oh shut up cause you're not even big. Its just your stomach," she said

"Before I found out I was pregnant I weighed 135. At my last doctor's appointment she said I was 159 so that's 24 pounds I've gained so far. I'm 23 weeks now & I gotta make it at least to 40 with gaining 1 pound a week so that's 17 more pounds I'm at least expected to gain. I refuse to be 200 pounds hell no," I complained shaking my head 

"Girl you're not gone gain that much more weight. My last doctor's appointment before I had Kai I weighed 189. After I had her 2 weeks later I was down to 156. I didn't breast feed or work out & now she's bout to be a year old in 2 months & I'm 144. That's 10 pounds bigger than what I was before I got pregnant, but I'm not complaining," she said looking at this cute shirt

"All I can fit is leggings & jogging pants cause I refuse to buy fat people clothes. I went from a size 6 to a size elastic," I said & she cracked up

"You are dumb ass fuck Imani, but look isn't this cute. I got some shoes this color I never wore because I could never find anything to go with them," she said holding up this dress & it was sexy

"Get it so when I get back skinny I can borrow it," I said

"Girl bye all them clothes you got. I need to go shopping in your closet since you can't fit nothing," she told me switching arms with Kai cause she was falling asleep after she was acting out earlier

"No cause you don't like to return stuff. I'm gone get back in all my shit, but look at these shoes. Damn if my feet weren't swelling & I didn't feel like hearing Chris mouth," I said holding up these bad heels

"Girl those are on sale. You better get them & the summer coming up. Hell do they got them in a 8 cause I'm bout to get me a pair," she said looking for somebody to help us

We shopped in there for a minute. I bought to shoes, but I gotta convince Chris that I won't wear them until after I have Kennedi. Now we at the food court cause my pregnant ass was hungry

"Man I swear the mall has the best Chinese food," I said stuffing my mouth

"Imani its good, but it ain't all that how you're making it seem," Shaye said. "Here fat butt," she said feeding Kai some of her rice cause that little girl wasn't staying sleep & its food around

"I want my baby to be chucky & have a head full of hair like Kai," I said

"Girl her fat butt. Look at all these rolls. She gets all this hair form me but she don't like getting it combed. Thats why its always in these 1 or 2 puff balls or we put a headband on her," she said touching Kai's hair & she turned her head cause she don't like people in her hair

"I want to braid it & put beads on it. But what are you doing for her first birthday coming up," I asked sipping my drink

"I don't know yet. I'm thinking about just having a cookout, with cake & ice cream. Maybe a bounce house cause its not like she's gone remember it. But what about your baby shower," she asked
