Imani's POV

That Saturday I told Shaye I would watch MaKaiah for her cause she was going somewhere with Mike's sister & her friends. Since I don't really hang with them like that I said I would babysit

"Look who we got tonight Chris," I said coming in the house with Kai & all her things

"Man what, I love my god daughter, but she's a cry baby. I don't wanna hear that all night," he said taking her out the carseat. "Where is Mike & Shaye," he asked holding Kai like she was a doll

"Shaye went out with Ebony & since I don't hang with her or her friends like that I didn't want to go. I don't know where Mike is. Don't hold her like that she is not a doll," I said

"I know, she smells though," he said sniffing her diaper

"Um, change her then," I told him

"Nope, here you go. That's your job," he said handing her to me. I got her diaper and wipes out her bag & took her, 

"So if we were to have kids together this is what I have to look forward too," I asked laying Kai down on the couch

"I wouldn't have a choice then. I'm guessing cause it would be my responsibility," he said looking at me

"True, but this is your god daughter so she is somewhat your responsibility when she is in your care. Hell no if you have a baby with me we gone do this shit 100-100" I said cleaning her off 

"You mean 50-50," he said texting on his phone

"No I meant 100-100. We're both gone give a 100% at all times. But that's not happening anything soon so no need to worry," I said tossing the diaper to him, "throw this away,"

"Don't be throwing shitty diapers at me. What if some came out," he said picking it up off the floor

"Its wouldn't hurt you," I laughed fixing Kai's clothes back picking her up. "Kai you gone have fun with auntie Imani & uncle Chris," I said kissing her cheek

"She gone have fun with auntie Mani, cause uncle Chris is bout to go kick it with the guys right quick," he said looking at me

"You really gone leave me & Kai here by ourselves," I asked him getting her a bottle out her bag

"I'm not gone be gone long. They just wanna go to the bar & have a few drinks. You could have came but you wanted to babysit," he said

"I mean I'm not gone tell you, you can't go cause I'm not one of them controlling girlfriends. But I did want you to stay with me, but go ahead," I said feeding MaKaiah

"Are you mad. Are we going through our first argument cause you don't want me to go," he asked looking curious 

"No, this is not an argument. I said you can go out, I'll be fine. just know that hanging with Mike can get you in trouble and don't make me act like Shaye on yo ass," I said to him

"We all know Mike is stupid. I would never be like him so you don't have to worry. I'm all yours & these hoes know that's why they want me so bad. I mean look at me, I'm sexy as fuck," he said pecking my lips

"Boy bye. I mean you're cute but you ain't all that. Kai, tell uncle Chris is ain't all that," I said

"I may not be all that, but Jesus thinks I'm to die for," he said rolling his neck

"You got me there, good one. But go so me & Kai can have some girls times," I said rocking her in my arms

"Alright & you look good with a baby in your arms. We should practice for one later. What you think," he said with a raised eyebrow
