Chris' POV

Me & Imani flew into Cleveland Monday morning. Ya'll know that only like an hour flight. She insisted we call her sister to pick us up but I rented a car at the airport. I gotta be able to drive no matter where I am cause ya'll already know I'm a bad passenger

"Why you just didn't let me drive since you don't know your way around," Imani asked

"Now you know I don't like when you drive. Now tell me how to get to your moms house," I asked her pulling out the parking lot

"You are so sexist. What did you tell me, use the GPS," she teased

"I am not sexist. I didn't say women couldn't drive. I said you Imani Brown couldn't drive. I am using the GPS, you. How long this gone take cause I'm hungry" I said stopping at a red light looking at her

"Nigga, I should slap you. But its about a 25 minute drive if traffic not fucked up. It depends if you wanna take the streets or the highway," she asked me

"Shit which is quicker," I asked pulling a little to the side so she can tell me where to go

"If the highway is packed the streets are quicker. Since it's a Monday & still kind of early I think we should be able to take the highway. So turn left right here & get on the highway, then I'll tell you as we go," she said looking down at her phone

I drove with her telling me where to go & we ended up at her moms house. It was a nice little quiet neighborhood

"Is this the city," I asked parking the car on the street like she told me

"No this the suburbs. I'm a suburban chick. My mama must didn't go to work today cause her car is here. I didn't tell any of them I was coming," she said getting out the car

"Ya'll ain't got no dog or nothing. A nigga gotta be cautious walking into foreign places," I said truthfully. A nigga gotta be aware of their surrounding at all times

"No we don't scary cat now come on," she said putting some code in the garage letting it up then walking in so I followed

We went in. Her moms house was nice. It was small, but really cute & she has a huge back yard.

"Auntie," her niece that I met. I'm guessing her nephews that all ran up to her

"Hey my babies. I missed ya'll," she said picking up the youngest who looked like he couldn't be no more than two

"Hey, I remember you. Ya'll he gone be our new uncle," her niece Amari said talking to her brothers

"I remember you too. Hello everyone," I greeted & they replied

"Hey ya'll. Imani I should slap you. Why didn't you tell me ya'll were coming when I talked to you this morning," her mom said hugging her

"I wanted to surprise ya'll & we had just got to the airport when I talked to you. Why you got Nikki's kids. "Where she at?" Imani asked

"Her & Marvin went somewhere, but they should be on their way back. Hello Christian," her mom spoke to me

"Hey! How are you, its nice to see you again," I said hugging her cause I mean she gone be my future mother in law one day so I might as well get used to this

"I missed you pooh. You missed auntie," Imani asked tickling her nephew

"Yes," he laughed shaking his head

"Who was that coming in," somebody said walking in the living room. "Oh hey Mani, when you get here. Who is this cutie?" she asked

"Hey auntie, I just got in town less than an hour ago & this is my boyfriend Chris," she introduced, "Chris this my aunt Linda," she said
