Imani POV

Its been about 3 weeks since Shaye's baby shower and now we only got 3 weeks of school left then we graduate. I couldn't be more excited. Also Shaye is ready to have the baby. It was Wednesday night & I was on the phone with Chris when I needed to be sleep cause I have an exam in class tomorrow

"My bed is kinda lonely so I'm taking inquires for cuddle buddies. You gotta be beautiful, fun, short, have dimples, smart, caramel skin, and curvy," Chris said over the phone

"Well damn I hope you find that girl cause those are a lot of requirements for one person," I said

"I don't think so. Plus I already got somebody in mind that has all those qualities plus more. I just gotta get her to agree," he said

"She must be one lucky girl then. When you get her can I meet her to make sure she's just right for you cause you can't cuddle with just anybody," I said

"I know right, but I think I would be the lucky one to be able to have her. There is no need for you to meet her because I think you already know her very well already," he said

"Who are you talking bout Shaye. Dang how you gone do ya boy Mike like that trying to hit on his girl. His pregnant girl at that, that's all wrong," I said shaking my head

"Ha, ha, you're funny, but I wasn't talking bout Shaye. She doesn't have dimples & she mocha skin. Plus that's like my sister and I would never mess with my boys girl even if they were to break up," he said

"Then who are you talking about cause I don't think we know a lot of people in common. Unless you're talking bout one of these lil thots walking around Atlanta, or someone from my school," I questioned

"Girl you are so difficult and don't know how to read between the lines," he said laughing

"So now you're insulting my intelligence. To think I was gone let you take me out to eat again, but I guess not since you wanna be a big meany. I hope your potential cuddle buddle declines," I said acting like I was mad

"You're funny baby girl & never was I trying to insult your intelligence. I was saying you don't know how to read between the lines cause my potential cuddle buddy I was talking bout was you. I described you. You have all the qualities plus more that I want. Not just in a cuddle buddy but possible something more," he said

"Awe Chris that was so sweet. I take that back you aren't a meany and you can take me out to eat again if you want," I said laughing

"Oh I already planned on it. I was just waiting on you to give me a date and time when you were available," he said in a sure voice

"Oh is that so. I like that you are so determined, that's very attractive in a man," I said

"So you find me attractive now. I mean not to sound conceded but I know I'm sexy but guess what I find you very attractive too. I can tell you blushing but its cool cause that's attractive too," he claimed

"No I'm not blushing, but thanks," I said in a not so convincing voice. Yes I was blushing

"Yea your voice wasn't too convincing, but I'm kinda tired, so I'm a let you go. I know you gotta go to school tomorrow but maybe we can do lunch. I think I can step away from the shop for an hour or 2," he said yawning

"Sounds like a plan. I'll text you when I get out of class, but good night dream about me," I said

"I do every night beautiful," he said
