Shaye's POV

Me & Imani were on a lunch break from work as always. I think we eat & be on lunch more than we work but I ain't complaining. Now out of all people Mike's baby mama Tameka wanted to meet with me. So of course I had to bring Imani in case something popped off cause I done had to beat this bitch ass a couple times

"What the hell she need to talk to you for. Ya'll don't even like each other. I'm not in the mood to slap a bitch today," Imani said eating her salad

"I don't know. She texted me this morning asking to meet her cause it was serious. Girl yo pregnant ass not gone do nothing so sit down. I do all the bitch slapping alone until you drop this load," I said laughing pointing to her belly 

"I can still slap a bitch & get away with it cause they can't hit me back," she said

We both were cracking up until Meka came in

"Hey Shaye," she said sitting in the chair next to me

"Hey, I don't know if you remember my bestfriend Imani," I said

"Yes, I do hey Imani. You look cute pregnant. I bet you & your baby father can't wait," she said smiling

"Nope. Me & Chris are excited," Imani said rubbing her stomach

"Chris, Mike's bestfriend Chris is yo dude. I didn't know that," Meka asked

"Yea," Imani said drinking her water

"Congrats," Meka said

"Ok, so yea Meka why you ask me to meet you today," I asked eating some bread

"Um, I need your advice on something serious. I know we don't see eye to eye but it concerns Mike & my child. Since you are a big part in both of their lives I need help," she said

"Do ya'll need me to leave or something cause this sounds personal," Imani asked 

"No you're good," Meka said to her

"What is it. Just how is it going to affect Mike & Mikey," I asked her

"Well, I'm moving to New York the end of May. I plan on taking Mikey with me, but Mike doesn't know yet. I don't know how to tell him so I was wondering if you would tell him for me after I leave," she stated 

"What the hell. No I am not telling him after you leave. How are you just going to take his kid away like that to a whole other state," I said

"I'm not just taking him away. I'm going to better myself. Plus my boyfriends job is relocating there. I decided to go with him," she said

"So basically you're taking yo son away from his father to be with another man," Imani asked her

"No I am not. I will send him to visit Mike whenever he wants. Why are you talking this doesn't concern you anyways," Meka said to Imani

"Bit," Imani started saying but I covered her mouth

"Don't came at her like that cause when she asked if she needed to leave, you said she can stay. But you're gonna tell Mike your self. You know he's gonna be mad so you better hope he don't take you to court like last time you tried to keep Mikey away from him," I told her

"Last time I checked I had custody of Mikey. So whatever I do or say goes," she said getting hyped 

"Girl don't get beyond yo self cause you asked me to talk & tell Mike about this. Last I checked ya'll had joint custody. That's why Mikey comes over every other week. He buys most of Mikey's stuff & pays for daycare," I said cause it's been like that since Mikey was 2
