Chapter 39

Mike's POV

It was the day of MJ's party. I had took him the outfit I wanted him to wear to Meka last night. It  was some khaki cameo shorts, red-v-neck t-shirt & some bred 11s. I had to pull my outfit out like that so we can match. I got Kai of course she was looking cute cause Shaye dressed her. Ya'll know when you got 2 baby mamas they try to outdo each other in. But both my kids are always fly. 

"You ready to go turn up for your brother's party," I said picking her up & then she throws up right on my shirt. Like what the fuck Kai you're lucky daddy loves you

I went to change my shirt then I strapped her in & we dipped. I fucking hate Chuck E Cheese but its for my lil man so I gotta deal with it

"Hello everybody," I spoke to all the guest. It was mainly Meka's family & her friend who had kids.

"Daddy. Its my birthday party," Mikey said running up to me when he seen me 

"I know buddy. Happy Birthday! Daddy got you a big surprise later," I said sitting Kai's carseat on the chair

"Yay, what is it," he asked

"You have to wait & see when you open you gifts," I told him picking Kai up out her seat 

"Ok," he said running off to go play with the other kids in the ball pit

"Bout time you got here. Now g ive me some money so I can buy some more pizza," Meka said holding her hand out 

"Damn, no hello Mike. Just give me some money," I said putting Kai in one arm, going in my pocket to get my wallet with the other

"Yup. Is that Shaye's baby, she cute. She looks just like yo ass," she said

"She is my daughter isn't she," I said handing her a 100 dollar bill. She better make that shit stretch the rest of the day too cause I had already sent her $300 earlier for this party 

"Thanks baby daddy. Yo mama & sister are at the table being anti so I left them alone," she said turning the other way to where you order the pizza. I went to where my mama & sister was

"Why ya'll sitting all the way over here away from everybody," I asked them, sitting Kai on my mama lap

"You know we don't care for Meka & her people for real. We're only here for my nephew," Ebony said

"Right. Hey princess. Shaye had to dress her & do her hair cause I know you didn't," my mom said bouncing Kai on her lap

"Why couldn't I have. That's my baby too," I said

"Cause, she doesn't look like a little boy. She got ponytails in her hair & sandals on her feet, not Jordan's," Ebony said holding Emmy

"True, but she threw up on the outfit she originally had on so I had to change her. But you gone hold her ma while I go play some games with Mikey," I asked wiping the drool off Kai's mouth with her bib

"Yea, I got here cause Shaye already called & told me she didn't want nobody touching her," my mama said

"I don't blame her. These hoes ratchet. Igotta keep my kids away from them too," Ebony said looking around. Meka does have some ratchet ass friend. She's from College Park. I did used to live over there so that's where I know her from. Her ass still lives over there, but it's a nice house & street she lives on. After I started the barbershop. Mr. E looked out for me & Chris cause he had some houses in Smyrna he owed. We pay rent, but he gives us free will to do as we please as far as remodeling & all the other shit only home owner would usually do
