Mike's POV

It was Saturday. me & Shaye were chilling at the house with the kids eating cereal sitting up in the AC cause it was hot as fuck outside. I ain't feel like going to the barber shop cause I'm being real lazy today

"Really Mike," Shaye said shaking her head at me

"What I do," I asked looking at the TV

"You don't see her playing in that milk, bout to spill it all over the floor," she said talking bout Kai

"Man, come here bad ass," I said trying to grab her lil butt

"No," she said trying to run away but her little ass ain't fast enough

"Why you always gotta be so bad, huh. I thought you were the princess," I said holding her up in the air & she was giggling

"Put my baby down before you drop her," Shaye said reaching for Kai

"Nope, I ain't gone drop her. Say move mommy. I'm having fun with my daddy," I said still lifting Kai in the air & her giggling more

"Me next daddy. I wanna go in the air," Mikey said reaching his arms up to me

"You're too big buddy.I can't lift you like this no more," I told Mikey & he got mad

"I not too big," he said pouting

"Fix yo face little boy, before I body slam you," I said nudging him

"Alright now when he get to doing that karate shit & kick you, don't try to whoop him," Shaye said getting up with Kai on her hip walking in the kitchen

"This little nigga know better," I said getting up grabbing Mikey over my shoulder

"Put me down," he said yelling, hitting my back

"Nope, you wanted me to pick you up, so I did," I said to him holding him upside down by his legs. He's not heavy, I just ain't wanna play

"No daddy stop, I'm falling," he pleaded cause I acted like I was dropping him 

"Say, I have the best daddy in the whole wide world & I'll put you down," I said tickling his thigh

"Daddy stop that tickle. Mommy Shy help me please," Mikey yelled

"She can't save you from big daddy," I said throwing him on the couch & he was cracking up

"That was fun can we do it again," he said standing on the couch for me to pick him up

"No, I'm tired, but lets go see what sister & mommy Shy, Shy are doing in the kitchen, hop on," I said turning around so he can get on my back

We went into the kitchen & Shaye was eating fruit salad. Of course Kai fat butt was eating again with her, then it was nap time for them & me & Shaye were laid up

"How the hell are you a barber, but yo hair nappy as hell & need cutting," Shaye said rubbing her hand across my head

"My hair is not nappy & I'm waiting until the 4th of July to get fresh," I said laying on her boobs

"That is in a few days, so that means Imani birthday is coming up," Shaye said

"Yea, but she can't do nothing. plus I forgot to tell you we're going to Tallahassee that weekend," I said

"For what & why am I just now hearing this," she asked

"My bad, I thought my mama or Ebony talked to you already. But we're having a family reunion & its been about 10 years so they want everybody to come & while my great-grandma is still living," I told her cause ya'll know I'm originally from Florida. That is where my grand-parents, great-grandma & most of my family live. We lived in Miami for a while before we moved here to Atlanta to get away from Marcus crazy ass. We lived in College Park & we used my aunt address to go to school cause her bougie ass lived in Midtown. That's how I went to Grady with Shaye. She moved back to Florida my senior year & her & my mom don't get along for real.
