Imani's POV

I had got off of work early & cause my favorite cousin had flown into town. This is my ace we did everything together even though she is 2 years older than me. She didn't make it to my graduation because she couldn't get off work. Chasity was with me cause Chris & Mike was doing something. I invite Shaye & Ashley over cause I cooked some seafood. I had a taste for it & I had just got paid so why not lol

"Girl if you gone feed me like this when I come down here, I need to come more often," my cousin Isis said slamming on her food

"Mani be throwing down in the kitchen. I miss this especially when I was pregnant," Shaye said biting her corn. MaKaiah was laying on a blanket next to here on the floor sleep

"I don't cook all like that no more. Me & Chris take turns cause he can cook too," I said taking a sip of my wine. Oh yea we cracked opened a bottle of pink moscato too

"Mani I didn't know you could cook like this. I love me some crab legs. You should have put some crawfish in here too," Chasity said dipping her crabmeat in the butter sauce I made

"I wanna try crawfish but it looks like bugs. I heard you gotta eat a lot cause it don't have no meat in it really," Ashley said

"It don't. Its only a small amount in the tail, but its good though. Ya'll gotta come to New Orleans to try some good food. Imani went in on them when she was there,"Chasity said

"Cause it was good all the food was except oysters. I don't like them & Chris forced me to eat them raw," I said & he really did & I could have slapped him

"Mani, I gotta met yo little boyfriend. Is he cute," Isis asked

"Yes Chris is fine, too bad i'm too young for him," Ashley said laughing 

"Well damn Imani. You better watch out for him," Isis said seriously & I agree

"Ugh, no my brother is not fine. He is just a regular light skin dude with a bunch of tattoos," Chasity said

"Dang Chasity. Outta you & Khalil, you look like Chris & your father," Shaye said  

"Yea, you do Chas. I noticed that since you've been here. Khalil looks like ya'll mom. Chris is the typical light skin with tattoos, curly hair & from New Orleans" I said truthfully

"He's still fine to me. Mani I'm mad at you cause Chris was supposed to be my boyfriend," Ashley said laughing 

"Ugh, my brother is not all that," Chas said

" Boys suck," Shaye claimed 

"You must be talking bout Mike. At least you got a beautiful daughter out of the situation," I said looking at MaKaiah cute chunky butt

"She is so darn cute, can I have her. I wanna take her back to Cleveland with me," Isis said before somebody was banging on my door like they were stupid

"Who the fuck is it banging on my door like you done lost yo damn mind," I said 

"Don't worry about it, just open the door Imani," the person on the outside said so I looked through the peep hole & it was Chris & Mike I swear I'm gone slap both of them. "Don't be banging on my door like that." I said opening the door. I live in an apartment where the doors are individual & not in a building 

"That was Mike dumb ass banging like that. Ya'll know he's stupid," Chris said kissing all up on me. He has gotten really comfortable doing that

"Fuck you nigga. Man ya'll in here throwing down on some crab legs & didn't invite a nigga over to partake in the feast," Mike said taking a crab leg off Shaye's plate
