It was now September & Chris' b-day will be on the 3rd

I was over Imani's house cause I missed my bestie & Chris wasn't here so it was my chance to hang with her since she didn't have work for some reason. Her boss lets her take off whenever she wants to for no reason. Maybe I should apply there for real

"Imani I fucking miss you. You're either always at work or with Chris. We really haven't hung out just the 2 of us, since your b-day," I said sitting on her bed holding Kai who is now trying to sit up on her own

"I'm sorry boo, but you know its just gone be me you, Chas & Ash in Miami in December. Who gone watch Kai then," Mani asked

"I think I'll let my mother keep her, but that's not the same. I'm talking bout just me & you like old time when I didn't have a child & you were single. I don't like you in a relationship," I fake pouted

"Oh shut up cause now you see how it feel when I used to have to play third wheel, with you & Mike. I hated that shit then when he would be over & I would hear ya'll arguing or getting freaky," she said & I laughed

"I know, I miss those times, but girl I spent the night over his house. What was it about a weeks ago," I said

"No Shaye, you better not have forgave him & gotten back with him that fast like you always do. You better not have had sex with him like you said you wanted to," Imani asked looking at me with no shirt & her hands on her hips cause she was getting dressed when I got here

"No, I did neither of them. I was over there because I have a fucking stalker. I was scared to go home, so I told him & he said he will handle it," I told her

"What the hell, whose stalking you. Why didn't you tell yo new friend Jay," she asked going thru her closet for a shirt

"Cause that's the nigga that's stalking me. Mike told me some stuff about him & to stay away from him," I said then telling her the rest of the story

"Oh hell no you better get a restraining order. Like did you even give him the good yet," she asked slipping on a cute shirt that I might have to borrow one day 

"No, we only went on 2 dates then he started acting crazy. I can't deal so I'm never home & when I am I make sure I arm the security. I lock my room door at night & I bring Kai in the room to sleep with me," I said

"Girl you better have yo gun ready," she said

"I know right. I'm thinking bout telling my daddy cause you know he will shoot first & ask questions later. Its not that I'm scared its just I have my baby there with me," I said rubbing my hands in Kai's hair as she fell asleep in my arms

"I know that right. Mama bear gotta protect her cub, with her cute little chunky self. I want to keep her again one day soon," she said

"Be my guest, but don't try to give her back when she starts crying, like last time," I told her

"I'm not, that was Chris who was mad about her crying. It didn't bother me," she said

"Yea cause yo ass was sleep he said. But what are we going to the mall for. You know I need to save money," I said

"You don't have to get anything, but I need a new swimsuit & some sexy lingerie," she said slipping on her wedges that match her Michael Kors purse we got alike
