A week before Imani is due

Imani's POV

It was a week before my due date. My mom, sister & niece are coming into town Friday. My sister is only staying until the day after I have Kennedi so she has to come on time. My mom & Amari are staying 2 weeks after, but me Chris, Shaye & Mike are bout to go on a double date

"Imani hurry up damn. What's taking you so long," Chris said getting on my nerves

"Chris please don't start with me today, you see me getting ready. I mean I am 9 months pregnant. Sorry if I don't move as fast as you would like," I said rolling my eyes, while finshing curling my hair

"Roll them eyes again & see what happens. I know you're pregnant, but you been in that damn mirror for an hour doing your hair," he complained

"So what, you're just gone have to deal with it. Now get out so I can get dressed," I told him

"What do you mean get out. Imani you walk around every day naked, you got to sleep naked. I've seen everything you have to offer, hell you're carrying my child," he said

"So you just made me mad. I don't even want to look at yo ugly ass," I said grabbing my dress. It was a cute tube maxi dress that flows long at the bottom. Chris just don't know I'm bout to put some wedges on with it too

"Girl bye. Never can I be ugly, but hurry up big booty," he said slapping my ass before walking out

I finished getting dressed & put my heels on & a light jacket cause even though it was summer time it be a little chilly at night

"You look sexy ma," Chris said pecking my lips

"I know thanks babe. Now lets go. Is Mike & Shaye meeting us at the restaurant," I asked grabbing my purse trying to hurry up before he tried to make me change my shoes

"Yea, & don't think you slick. Get yo lil ass in there & take them heels off," he said leaning on the wall

"Um last time I checked, where it said father on my birth certificate that space was empty. Therefore, I don't have a father," I challenged him

"I may not be your father, but you call me daddy so that's close enough. Now go change or that ass is mine," he said

I pouted & walked away not fast cause I couldn't so it didn't have the same affect. But I put on some cute flat sandals. Soon as I have Kennedi, I'm putting on a freak-um dress & the highest heels in my closet just because. And I'm a drink a whole bottle of something

Chris' POV

"Come on woman you're moving too slow," I told Imani cause she was taking too long

"Um excuse me, but maybe if you would stop walking so fast & help your 9 month pregnant fiancé I wouldn't take forever," she said outta breath from walking & yelling at me

"Why you tired you didn't even walk that far," I said laughing & she mugged the hell out of me but it was still funny

"Chris I swear I really can't stand yo ugly ass right now. If I wasn't hungry or knew I could walk back to the car without getting tired after 2 steps I would leave you here," she said

"Not in my car babe. But come on Mike said him & Shaye already at the table waiting big booty," I said slapping her butt to walk in front of me but she was walking to slow
