Mike's POV

Shaye & Imani decided to have a picnic at Centennial Park for the kids today after church. Ya'll know me & Chris ain't wanna go but had no choice. We grilled hot dogs & hamburger on this mini grill we brought with us 

"Mikey eat that hotdog," I told him cause he was only eating chips & drinking juice

"I'm are gosh," he said with an attitude taking a little bite of it

"Don't make me beat yo ass little boy," I told him cause he's been getting outta line lately. I'm a have to jack him up soon

"Leave him alone. He's probably not that hungry cause he ate 2 peanut butter & jelly sandwiches before we left," Shaye said giving Kai some cut up hotdogs 

"Well I'm hungry, so I'm bout to smash on this hotdog & hamburger," Chris said dressing up his burger & hotdog with all the condiments

"Make me a hamburger please babe with no cheese," Imani asked Chris, feeding Kennedi some fruit salad

"Yea Mike make me a plate," Shaye said

"Ya'll some lazy ass women. Ya'll supposed to be making us plates," I told her making the plate still 

"Right, ya'll supposed to cook & do all that other domestic stuff for us," Chris said stuffing almost the whole hotdog in his mouth *pause* before making Imani's food 

"Funny thing is ya'll still made both of us a plate," Shaye said taking the plate out my hand

"Exactly, Chris knows better cause that nigga will starve messing with me," Imani said taking the plate Chris made her

"I'm done daddy can I go play now," Mikey said, even though he still had a half of hotdog on his plate

"Man go ahead & stay where we can see you," I told him

"Be careful Mikey. Don't be over there fighting no other kids or I'm gone beat you're butt," Shaye told him

 "Mikey little bad butt been fighting people," Imani asked

"Hell yea, I had to pick him up from school Friday, cause he punched a little boy in the face," I said biting my burger

"You ain't do nothing about it though," Shaye said

"That dude hit him first, so he deserved to get his ass beat. Mikey ain't no punk," I said

"He ain't gotta be no punk. But you don't need to be telling him to fight. He's only 5," Imani said

"So he needs to learn now. When we have a son he gone be whooping ass too. If somebody messes with him. Then I'm a beat the dads ass if he got something to say. You got beat the mama's ass if she got something to say," Chris said laughing 

"See bruh you understand me. That was my logic," I said dapping Chris up

"Shaye, I think we picked the wrong people to fall in love & have kids by," Imani said

"I think so too. Hopefully none of the stupidity was in the sperm that made the kids or we're fucked," Shaye said

"I graduated high school with a 3.5 & did a year in college. So I'm smart," I said

"We were smart enough to trap ya'll," Chris added

"Ya'll just stupid I swear," Shaye said letting Kai bite her burger

"No I not," I said

"What's 9+10," Chris said

"21," I replied laughing
