Chris POV

I just got to the NOLA to go check up on pops. It's still surreal to me that he has cancer like ya'll don't understand. I cried when I found that out cause I loves my pops. He is the reason I am the man I am today & I would probably kill myself if something happens to him or my mama.

I pulled in the driveway & made my way to the door ringing the bell because nobody knew I was coming. It was moms birthday weekend too so I didn't use my key to get in or go through the garage

"Who is it?"my little sister Chasity said on the other side

"Open it a find out who it is," I replied changing my voice and holding the peephole so she didn't see me

"Look if you gone play games then you can stay outside cause don't nobody got time for this," Chasity said with an attitude getting smart, "so if your don't say nothing you must want to stay outside then so have a nice day" she added

I'm got beat her ass with that little smart mouth & I know she rolling her eyes, but that's my baby. I'll kill a nigga over her and my little brother even though sometimes I want to kill his ass

"Little girl open the door its Chris & hurry up before I whip yo ass," I answered

"Boy bye you not gone touch me or I'm gone tell my mama. Now what you doing here in town we don't want to see you," she said with all that neck rolling

"Girl you better cut that shit out. I can't come visit my parents & my favorite little sister who I haven't seen in two months," I hugged her tight so she couldn't breath

"Stop Chris you play too much," she said rolling her eyes pushing me off of her

"But you love me & roll them eyes again I'm a tear that ass up & were everybody at. I know you not here by yoself" I asked walking all the way on

"Yes I am here by myself I am not a baby I will be 16 in June, & mommie took dad to his doctor's appointment. Who knows where Khalil is, probably somewhere being bad, getting in trouble, cause he got suspending again," she said sitting on the couch

"I swear Lil gone make me fuck him up if he out there being dumb. What he do this time," I said sitting next to her

"I don't know cause he be on the other side of school with the junior & seniors. I heard he got caught in the bathroom getting oral sex from a girl that's supposed to be his girlfriend Briana. I swear I don't like that girl, some people said he was smoking weed outside & got caught, so like I said I don't know" Chas said folding her arms

"What did mom & dad say about it," I asked shaking me head

"Nothing cause they been busy. You know with mom working then dad having to go back & forth to the doctors. I heard them talking bout sending him to live with you or to military school. But personally I think he just need one of those good ole whipping mama used to give us if you ask me," she stated

" Hell yea & I might be the one to give it to him cause that boy is horrible," I replied laughing

"Chas who are you talking to & it better not be no nigga in this house or you gone get that ass beat," Lil said walking in, "Oh shit what up bro when you get in town," he added dapping me up

"Today I came to check on pops & see mama for her birthday. But I hear you out there being a dumb ass so I guess now I gotta check you too," I said to him
