"ossu!" qq said with a grin as she and her friends entered the gym.

"ossu!" came hinata's voice as he rushed forward to greet them, "so you guys are done with school for the day?"

"mm hm," the ravenette nodded.

"great timing too! i wanted to play a game as a warm up!" daichi said, "now that you guys are here, we'll have an equal number!"

"but daichi-san, you already have equal number of mem—" qq began before the third year cut her off again.

"i'm sure you'll enjoy it as much as we'll do!" daichi said overbrightly, "now mina, get into pairs, and you'll try to tag the other person!"

(lmao i feel daichi is tryna ship all his children here with the rest)

everyone got into pairs quickly, hinata trying to tag shanz and vice versa, zan and noya trying to tag each other out, tea and ennoshita staring at each other awkwardly, and kageyama tagging qq out almost immediately (mainly because she was tired enough and could not be bothered to exercise).

"um..." kimberly and sugawara said awkwardly as they stood there.

they stared at each other for a while before averting their gaze to their friends who were enthusiastically tagging each other out (except for qq and kageyama, who were now sitting down watching the others play).

unfortunately, kimberly had been too absorbed watching over her "children" (as well as the other mother tea) play that she didn't notice suga creep up behind her. when she did, it was too late. he tackled her into his arms.

"gotcha!" he said happily as she began to flush bright red.

"um, suga..." she began awkwardly with her chin pressed on his shoulder.

the whole gym seemed to notice them, and everyone stopped whatever they were doing to see.

"yabai! my otp!" qq squealed and began hyperventilating, "somebody please send help, a girl is dying here."

(t: yabai = oh my god; goodness)

"whoa whoa whoa!" nishinoya said.

"suga-san actually got a girlfriend before us!" tanaka said and began wiping away (fake) tears.

"uwoah!" hinata gaped.

"nice, suga!" zan cheered.

"ah, g-gomen!" sugawara said as he released her from his grip.

she averted her gaze awkwardly and said, "i-it's okay."

little did she know that the silver-haired male was a blushing mess as well.

extended ending:

"ie, it's not daijoubu!" qq whined, "you guys should've hugged longer so i could take a picture!"

the two mothers (kimberly and sugawara) stared at the girl.

"you guys are blushing!" qq said in joy and raised her phone fast enough to snap a picture.

"delete it!" kimberly yelled as she began chasing the shorter girl.

"never!" qq yelled back, "this is proof of your love!"

"how is blushing at the same time even love?"

"ssh! don't break suga's heart!"
