qq stepped into the grand ballroom atop the staircase on one side, adjusting her gown a little. it was yellow and nothing grand really, an old dress of kageyama's mother. on her hand was a simple headband that was light yellow with a few beads.
kageyama stood on the other side of the staircase in a suit, awkwardly looking from side to side. slowly, he walked to the middle section of the staircase as well as qq, before clasping onto her hand and guiding her down to the floor.
kiyoko began singing with yachi by her side. kageyama wasn't sure where to put his hands when waltzing, so qq had to adjust his hands for him.
the two took slow steps as they started off, before slowly adding twirls and other things into the dance. daichi and sugawara watched from the side, smiling and nudging each other.
slowly, they managed to dance towards the door before stopping. kageyama then held his arm out to lead her outside to see the stars with an unmistakable blush on his face, and qq accepted it.
