makoto tachibana was probably the most gentle person jam had ever met.
even if he was mad, he wouldn't even shout. and he was therefore rarely ever mad.
that's how he was.
and he was also downright gentle to animals.
especially this one cat that lived near jam's house. it was white and the most beautiful set of emerald eyes.
every day when makoto came to pick jam up to school, the cat would go up to him. he would then give a smile and squat down before taking it into his arms to pet it. an amused jam would be standing on one side, watching. makoto would then realise she was there and let the cat go before standing up to face her.
he was also very caring.
he would tend to all of jam's needs (not that she would ask a lot of him). he would always be by her side to support her and whenever she needed it.
that's just who and how he was.
